Judith A. Sutherland (Author)

Available from these sellers.

Book Description

January 9, 2003
A practical workbook and spiritual exercises based upon Gnostic principles derived by the author from analysis of the Gnostic Gospels. The seven chapters of this workbook are The Seven Spiritual Principles of Gnosticism and within each chapter are specific methods for applying these spiritual principles. Implementation of these principles is achieved through the exercises.

The term Gnostic is derived from the root word gnosis meaning self-knowledge usually acquired from spiritual and mystical insights. The material presented in this book is in no way associated with a Gnostic Church or with any organization that purports to be the authority on Gnostic Christianity.

More About the Author

Picasso said: "If it doesn't come easy to you - it does not belong to you." Writing has always been easy for me and since my transtion from research and conceptual publications (I have 33 professional publciations) into historical fiction, writing is now exciting. I can move into and live in the world of my characters. My most recent publication is titled Back Ward and is based on the barbaric treatment of women in post World War II state hospitals and asylums as treatments such as ice-pick lobotomy and electro-convulsive therapy were being replaced by the new psychotropic drug Thorazine.
