About the Artist

Andy & Denise are an acoustic pop/folk duo that feature well crafted songs, rhythmic guitar playing and great harmonies. They have three releases available: their debut CD, "Sunlight In Goodbye," their 5-song live CD, "Live at Eddie's Attic," and their newly released studio CD entitled "Go." No matter what the setting, they are always fun and engaging to watch and listen to.

Their performances regularly take them up and down the east coast to numerous festivals, colleges, clubs and coffeehouses including The Bitter End, The Tin Angel, Godfrey Daniel’s, Eddie’s Attic, The Point, Postcrypt Coffeehouse, Minstrel Coffeehouse, Delaware Friends of Folk Coffeehouse, the Delmarva Folk Festival, the Brierfield Music Festival, and Good Day Alabama (FOX TV).

Andy Fox cut his teeth on the Boston music scene, playing in a number of different bands while attending Berklee College of Music. He was eventually drawn away from Boston by the bright lights and 24-hour markets of New York City. Andy is presently working on his first solo instrumental CD.

Denise O'Brien moved to New York to pursue acting and has performed in numerous commercials, soaps and theater. Her first love is music and is happy to have found her niche in the style she affectionately calls pholk.

Andy & Denise have recently started their own music recording and graphic design company. Through their combined talents they have the ability to produce, record and mix acoustic music as well as design CD packages, websites and promotional material for other artists.

alright...the fact that you're reading this means you probably haven't bought 'sunlight in goodbye' yet, because if you did, you wouldn't be reading this review of 'go', you'd be too busy buying 'go', because after their brilliant debut, (followed up by their equally brilliant 'live' disc), you wouldn't have to think twice about how brilliant this one would be...simply put, andy & denise are making music that could make a cast away not signal for help...this is music that never leaves your cd player...and don't just pholkus on one or two songs, because, like a perfect painting, you don't just look at the tree or the stars, you absorb it's entirty to satisfy the complete picture, which this cd does, dare i say it, brilliantly...

Andy and Denise have created a beautiful work of art. Music is the paint and the CD is the canvas. The songs remind me of a time when music captured your spirit and soothed your soul. With today's music being so harsh, this is a solid step in the right direction. I give this album an A+.

I have finished listening to Andy and Denise's new CD "Go" for the fifth time. In a word, WOW! The songs are impressively written and recorded. Lyrics a wordsmith or poet could only hope to put on paper. Musically, well thought out, and easy to listen to. The songs aren't jumbled with over-production. The guitar work is crystal-clear and extraordinary.

If you haven't bought a copy of this CD yet, you're missing out.
