5.0 out of 5 stars Great ideas for children with autism, June 27, 2011
This review is from: The Go Anywhere Guide: The Child with Autism Goes to Town- 250 Tips for Community Outings (Paperback)
This book provides over 250 tips and practical ideas regarding travel issues for children with autism. This includes the following: playground, fast food spots, the mall, the barbershop, the grocery store, the movie theatre, the amusement park, church, sporting events, the doctor, the pharmacy, the dentist, the hospital, the library, and other gatherings. Both of the author's children have autism, so her ideas and suggestions are taken from real-life experiences. I think this book will provide helpful insights and practical ideas for parents, grandparents, teachers, day-care workers, and other caregivers who work with autistic children.
