First off, I did expect this book to be longer. (More a result of not paying any attention to the book length than anything.) The story was intriguing, and raised some interesting possibilities. The only problem was, there didn't seem to be enough time to really explore them in more depth. So perhaps what I should say is I would have liked this book to be longer.

I won't go into the synopsis. I can't add anything to it that wasn't in the original. I will add this. There were a few times, perhaps because of the length, when the romance between Dell and Claire seemed rushed or forced. As if the author were hurrying to get the details in along with everything else. And while she adequately explains the how and why, I did find that the mix of James Bond venacular was jarring and threw the story off. It just didn't fit with the tone of the rest of the world she created.

Even so. If you are looking for a quick romp into fairyland with a handsome, sexy hero, this might be the book for you.
