In Go, Diego, Go! Great Dinosaur Rescue your child joins Diego on an epic prehistoric adventure on PlayStation 2. In this journey to the earth's Cretaceous Period, Diego, his sister Alicia and their pal Baby Jaguar travel millions of years back in time to the age of the dinosaurs to help Maia the Maiasaura find her way back to her family on Egg Island. In this amazing rescue adventure your child will explore a wild jungle-covered world filled with dinosaurs and volcanoes where they will have to climb rock walls, travel along monkey bars, solve puzzles and even jump on a pogo stick to help Diego’s friend find her way home.

Dino-tastic Play and Parent Approved
Simple and easy to pick up and play, Go, Diego, Go! Great Dinosaur Rescue is a platform-based game that will thrill young dino-crazy kids as they explore the game's five levels on foot, by water and atop Diego's skateboard. Along the way they will encounter many familiar and not so familiar dinosaurs, igniting a goal to identify them all. And with the game's 'Dinosaur Guide Helper' feature, parents can join in the fun with their own Wii Remote and encourage this curiosity as their child discovers the importance of helping those in need, the value of friends and just how fun learning can be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great first video game for toddler. December 22, 2009

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
It is not easy to find a PS2 game that a 2 year old (approaching 3) can play and complete. This game is a perfect first video game for any kid. It helped ours build confidence and he laughed and smiled the whole way through it. The only small issue was one required "move," which entails the child having to move each of the two analog sticks in an opposite direction. However, after a few days, our child had mastered this (a sense of accomplishment) and then finished the entire game within two weeks of owning it (and mom and dad only allowing 20-30 minutes of play every other day). Great price on Amazon. You won't be disappointed if you want to go down this path (video games) with your kid now (2 to 3). Enjoy!

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I sister owns a wii and I own a ps2, we have the same diego dinasaur rescue, as it turns out the graphics and gameplay are exactly the same. The game is pretty fun for kids. I would buy the ps2 version and save, in general Ps2 games and wii games look identical , except for the controls, so why is the wii version of these games more expensive? The graphics are the same.

1.0 out of 5 stars Never worked! August 6, 2013

It didn't work! It wont leave the loading page. I've tried pushin every button and trying it many different times/days. I bought it for my daughter for her birthday, two months prior, so i didn't know it didn't work right away. I accept the loss in money, but i wanted everyone to know my experience with this game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Go Diego, Go! July 29, 2013

This is good practice of hand-eye coordination and instruction-following for preschoolers. Games are basic as on the NickJr web site.
