I bought this pack for my son's Diego halloween costume. He already had a cheaper backpack version that we bought at the Diego live show, but the two armholes on that pack don't fit him anymore (he's almost 4). This one is much more like the "real" rescue pack that Diego wears than any of the others I've seen on the market. The quality is very good, it's made from rugged backpack material, similar to what you'd see in sporting goods stores and very well constructed. Tha patch on the front is embroidered and looks very professional. We might even start using it as his regular pack for preschool. The velcro strap in the front is adjustable and so it seems that it could fit kids from about 2 to maybe 6. I had wondered from the listing whether it was officially licensed or more home-made, since I haven't seen this for sale anywhere else, but the tags look legit.

My son got this bag for his 4th birthday and he is the envy of every kid we see who loves Diego. Kids come and look at his backpack up close. They study the logos. The other kids are so in awe of a REAL rescue pack. I get such a get out of the joy it brings to my son and the other kids who see it!

We bought this as a first-day-of-school present for our three-year-old son. He freaked! It's the perfect size for him, and he can get it on and off by himself. He was so proud to bring it to school, and many of the parents were eyeing it, asking me where I found it. Diego is big in our house, so I didn't hesitate to buy it. It can fit a change of clothes, diapers or pull ups, wipes, snacks, and a sippy cup. It also has a cool front pocket, where we can put special things or notes to the teacher. It also is big enough to fit his entire lunchbox (which is a soft, car shape). Well worth the money.

My daughter loves Diego. This pack is strong and durable. It is adjustable so she will be able to wear it a long time (she is 4 1/2). The thick velcro strap is very strong and does not come loose. It is just like the rescue pack from the TV show. This item is a good purchase for a Diego fan, and much sturdier than the Dora "backpack", which is flimsy and sized for smaller children.

I bought this for my middle child who loves loves to watch these shows unlike my older and younger sons. He loved this bag and would always correct us if we called it a backpack it was a rescue pack. This bag lasted two years and was used everyday! Must get if you're a fan.

I bought this for both my daughter and son, who love diego. They use it a lot and both to pretend play and carry thier belongings when going anywhere. They also get a lot of compliments wherever we go.

I bought two of these for my oldest boys, age 4.5 and age 2.5 -- they both love their Rescue Packs! I give the item 4 stars because it is exactly as expected, adorable and the kids were so excited to get them. I took off a star only because they each have trouble actually wearing the pack... it slides off their shoulder whether or not their is weight in the bag. Overall, fun to play with, but not really made to carry snacks to the park.

my son had a diego themed bday party, ofcourse the rescue pack is a huge part of the costume so it took me forever to finally find one that I liked. As soon as I received this product we lloved it! My son was very happy and I was happy that the product was big enough for his toys... not too big for a toddler.. and made of strong, durable material... well.. a week after using this product (no rough playing since it is the famous "rescue pack" and my son takes good care of it) the bag is tearing from the top seam. Im not too happy with that since the bag was no $5 bag. I really expected a lot more from what seem a strong durable bag.

Got this for my son for Halloween but assume he'll use it for pretend play, as will his 2 younger siblings. For a kids' backpack, very well made and durable. My son thinks it's exactly like Diego's real rescue pack so that's #1. He is almost 6 and very tall for his age, but skinny. It'll fit him for a while. Not sure about a huskier kid, but probably would still work because you can adjust how much of the velcro strap you overlap. It's easy for him (and his 3 year old sis) to put on/off and adjust. Would be quite big on a 2 year old but then you'd get a lot of use out of it. Price isn't bad if your kid would use it like mine, but shipping was a lot IMO. (I just decided to amortize that over 3 kids!) Overall, WAY better than the other rescue packs I've seen with silly faces, fluffy fabric, etc. If you have a real Diego fan you won't be disappointed.

I bought this item for my 4 year old daughter who is a huge Diego fan. Although I found it to be a bit pricey when I ordered it, it was the only thing I could find that looked authentically like the rescue pack that Diego has on the TV show. It arrived very promptly and I must say that it was money well spent. It is very sturdily constructed -- rugged and of good quality -- which is more than I can say for most children's toys these days, especially those made as a product of TV programs. In addition it is very easy for my daughter to wear because the cross strap has a large Velcro fastener that makes it easy to take off an on and to adjust to size. Overall this is a great toy. I would rather pay a bit more for something like this that is well made and built to last than to pay less and get a flimsy alternative.
