This truly is great for a child's first remote control car. The fire truck sounds are great! Not too loud and it really gets my grandson's attention. The two-button remote control is easy for him to operate and hold. Batteries easy to replace and last a really long time in both the car and the remote control. NO SPECIAL SCREWDRIVER NEEDED: Just a small phillips is all it takes. Highly recommended! We bought the police car, fire truck, construction loader and school bus. The soft body makes it safe for both child and furniture!

My little cousin had a great time with his truck. He found it easy to use the remote. Be aware that the truck's siren is engaged when it moves. Not overly loud -- it will not wake up the neighbors, but it makes a bit of noise. It does not seem to have a method to shut off the siren -- other than shut off the truck.

It's nice and sturdy. It's easy to use for little guys and gals. I guess I would have given it more stars over all but I think that this sort of toy isn't as overall fun/usable as say blocks. But as far as R.C. cars go, it's really nice. Although it IS a bit annoying with the extremely realistic and constant siren sounds. My 3 year old son actually asked me at one point to take the batteries out so he could play with it like his other cars :)

This has two buttons, turn and forward. My 1.5 yr old shows some interest in the toy, we'll see if it gets more interesting as time goes on. The range is limited to maybe 15-20 feet. The fire engine sounds happen quite frequently and it is quite noisy, but nothing a little bit of tape over the speaker won't cure.

It seems pretty durable, both the control and the firetruck have been dropped quite a number of times and have not broken yet.

We bought this for our 1 yr old and he loves it. It is very easy for him to control and it moves easily over carpet. My 3 1/2 yr old loves to play with it too. The great benefit for me is it is that the siren is not too loud.

This is the perfect remote control toy for toddlers. My 1 year old loves it and my 3 year old even plays with it. The remote is easy for their little hands to hold on to and there are only 2 buttons to figure out. This toys is wonderful for my little one, but children over 4 or 5 would probably not be impressed with it.

This truck has been lots of fun for several ages of kids from 2 to 8, Is a great buy and the price is comparable with anywhere.

Looks like ti will be fun for the kids. Sturdy and rubberized top so it will be soft if they fall on it.
Cute toy with siren sound. Doesnt wail too loud or long so it looks as if I will keep the batterys in it.

I thought that the shipping speed was pretty slow, but the truck has a nice easy remote control (two buttons) that make it simple for a 3.5 year-old recipient to master.

We bought the train and fire truck for our eighteen month old twins for Christmas. We were really excited about them having their first remote control toys. The toy looked awesome. They were durable, colorful,and easy to operate. We were happy until I remembered that the description stated that the toys were to make noise.They didn't make choo choo or siren sounds. The kids knew no better, but I was not happy with the quality of the toys. They ran a little rigid, but that could have been attributed to the fact that it was a train. They were BOTH huge disappointment. We have returned both toys.
