Having seen the almost painful NBC promos that inundated my TV for this show, I only tuned in to NBC's early sneak peek during the Olympics because Matthew Perry - one of my favorite "Friends" - was a part of it. I expected to do my part and write it off.

But I was surprised to see that, while not laugh-out-loud funny, that this pilot had "heart" to it amidst the jokes, and it handled the line of comedy/tragedy effectively. Matthew Perry can do comedy as was proven on "Friends", but he is equally as adept at drama, also known from "West Wing", "Studio 60", and his recurring role on "The Good Wife" (which he is reported to also be returning to).

The chemistry with the quirky supporting cast is off to a fine start, especially with Owen, played by the actor who once played Chris Rock as a kid on "Everybody Hates Chris" (sorry, blanking on his full name. I know it is Tyler Something).

So if these folks can be fleshed out, and the humor sharpened, NBC and Matthew Perry may have something with potential here!

Just one caveat: Please, for the love of God, do not pair Ryan with the pseudo-therapist woman, Lauren. Laura Benanti is not a bad actress, but it also became apparent that she and Matthew Perry have no spark, and most know how things like this work. So, I pray the cliché is avoided in the end.

Otherwise, watch! Or DVR if you are a "Happy Endings"/"New Girl" fan as this will be against both. Or watch here online. But it is actually worth a peek if you like quirkiness, heart, and a bit of dark humor and drama.

I wasn't expecting too much from this show based on the premise and the choices Matthew Perry has made in the past. But, I am finding that each week, the crazy antics and over-the-top sincerity and weirdness of the featured "Grief Group" is really funny. In its own small way and in spite of Ryan's objections and resistance, he is changed for the better.

Never was a huge fan of Matthew Perry's shows but this is just funny. He's very entertaining and the cast is hilarious. Love the creepy guy doing blacktop angels at the end. LOL ... that was cool.
I'll absolutely watch it again. I hope that this show sticks for Perry and the rest of the cast. Recommended

My problem with all other shows or movies with Matthew Perry is that I still see him as Chandler and that I don't want to see him as any other character. Go On remedies that. I want to get to know Ryan King and am cheering for him just as much as I was cheering for Chandler in Friends. Matthew Perry, coupled with a great supporting cast and the always funny John Cho, this show is guaranteed to make you laugh.

Great new comedy. Crazy, fun characters that aren't completely over the top. Matthew Perry does a great job of not being Chandler.

I think I found a show to watch on Tuesdays! I really enjoyed the pilot for this show. The characters are diverse and entertaining. Matthew Perry is still hilarious. Go On has a wonderful cast and stories that will make you laugh, the episodes start off light and humorous and end with Matthew Perry making steps of progress, accepting the death of his wife and learning to move on. I look forward to the future episodes of this show.

Matthew Perry plays a radio personality who is grieving the loss of his spouse. It takes a really serious issue about how grief affects us and how we cope and adds humor to it. It has it's heartwarming moments but is funny too. I can't wait to see the next episode.

I loved Matthew Perry in "Fools Rush In" and he was the main reason I became interested in "Friends" (my all time favorite tv series). It's good to see him in a new show that I can enjoy.
