5.0 out of 5 stars The best hands-free sanitizer dispenser I've tried yet
As of this writing, Amazon's product description field is blank ... but this looks like the "GOJO Purell® TFX(tm) Touch-Free Dispenser" {wall mounted sanitizer dispenser}. Hopefully they'll properly flesh out the description for this product by the time you read this review.

This improved model seems to be replacing their earlier manual push-action gel...

2.0 out of 5 stars wastes product
Seemed like a great idea for my doggie daycare business so I bought 4. I liked the idea of not having to push to activate. Problem is the unit activates and dispenses product even when people walk by or when any motion is detected from any source. We are probably going to have to replace them.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best hands-free sanitizer dispenser I've tried yet, October 9, 2008
This review is from: Go-Jo Ind. 2720-12 PURELL TFX Dispenser
As of this writing, Amazon's product description field is blank ... but this looks like the "GOJO Purell® TFX(tm) Touch-Free Dispenser" {wall mounted sanitizer dispenser}. Hopefully they'll properly flesh out the description for this product by the time you read this review.

This improved model seems to be replacing their earlier manual push-action gel dispenser, which has been proliferating at many hospitals, gymnasiums, and restrooms in recent years.

The previous dispenser used 1 liter refill bags of sanitizing gel. The new hands-free one uses 3 Type C batteries (I recommend NiMh rechargeables by Tenergy), and the refills have increased to 1.2 liters - and you can use either the gel, or the new "instant foam" refills (which can be found at the BettyMills website, and several other sites, if it's not on amazon by the time you read this). I prefer the foam over the gel, because there's less waste, less alcoholic reek, and each spritz covers more area than the gloppy gel.

Anyway, the large 1.2L capacity is more economical than the ubiquitous 8oz disposable gel pump-top units sold in local pharmacies & supermarkets, and the inverted (dispense downward) orientation helps reduce the annoying amount of waste (i.e., percentage of product that cannot be dispensed) inherent in the upright pump-top units, and it also eliminates the need for counter space.

Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, but won't be ordering from this seller again, July 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Go-Jo Ind. 2720-12 PURELL TFX Dispenser
The product I ordered is great and is as described. I do not have any trouble with it going off eveytime someone or something walks by but of course I don't have a doggie daycare or whatever so I don't have to worry about anything walking underneath it. As far as the seller goes I will not order from them again. I have been shopping with amazon for years and have never had so much trouble with a seller. Actually I have never had any trouble with a seller through Amazon or Amazon until now. They sent my packaged to an incorrect address so I emailed them about it and they blamed it on Amazon giving them the wrong address and told me to call UPS. Which calling them is not big deal, but I do not feel as if it was my responisbility. Also every single peice of paperwork I had on this item including the paperwork that came in the box had the correct address, so I don't know how UPS got the incorrect address, but I know it wasn't Amazons fault. Then again maybe I'm just used to working with companies that like to make there customers happy. I finally recieved my pagaked after the originally set date and set eveything up when I realized one of my items did not work. I worked with this product for a long time going over and over the instructions, redoing every step time and time again, checking the battery light to make sure that it was blinking (and it was) before I finally figured out the problem. My batteries worked but they were not strong enough to make my dispenser work. Luckily I ordered two so I was able to take the batteries out of one and at least use it right away. I emailed them about four to five days ago to see if they would do anything about the batteries and I still have not recieved anything back. Although when I emailed them about it being sent to the wrong address they had no problem promptly getting back to me to tell me it wasn't their fault and for me to fix it. So i'm taking their anwser as a silent NO! I don't normally get this aggravated with a company or complain becuase we all make mistakes, but I feel that their inability to take responsibility and their disagreeable customer service speaks for itself.

this is a good product. There was one reviewer who said that as people walk by it automatically dispensed. I have never experienced this, as a matter of fact you have to place your hands underneath the device in order for it to dispense. The reason why I prefer this over the manual one is because it measures the correct amount each time it dispenses, so you don't get as much waste. It also makes the place feel more professional.

Great price and fast delivery of a Purell TFX Dispenser. These days you needed to have a unit like this in public spaces.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hands Free Sanitizer, June 8, 2009
This review is from: Go-Jo Ind. 2720-12 PURELL TFX Dispenser
Recently got a dog and installed a hands free Purell dispenser for cleaning our hands after walking her. Product was easy to install and works well. With all the germs around, it's a good idea to have easy access to some disinfectant.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless, December 12, 2010
This review is from: Go-Jo Ind. 2720-12 PURELL TFX Dispenser
If ever there was a useless item to spend money on it has to be this one. Not that the manufacturer has done anything wrong or the idea of hand sanitation is not a good one. As far as I know, Purell makes a good hand sanitizer product. My only problem with this gimmick is that we don't need something to not touch when our hands are unsanitary and then sanitize them. What is the point of not touching it? Once your hands are clean, you won't be touching it anyway. Just seems silly to me. Just buy the gel and forget the dispenser.
