Allison's strength, stamina, and legacy for surviving family members fills the pages of this inspirational testimony in support of making the most of our all-too-brief days -- and keeping an unshaken faith in God to the end. Go Out And Live is very highly recommended reading.

I loved this book, not only because of a very moving story about a young girl's courage and her parents' need to make sense of her eventual passing, but also because there is a message to others who may one day find themselves walking the same difficult path of the bereaved parent. As in their own lives, the authors have no time to give into personal desperation in telling the story of Allison, but rather, they focus on coming to terms with life, death, and life again in both practical and unique ways. The book makes no attempt to curry pity from the reader--a pitfall so often found in books dealing with personal tragedy--but rather, it is written with a very steady hand and forward-looking style, balancing the struggle of loss with the struggle for hope. Well done.
