This is one of the best, most well put together scooters i've ever owned. If you've never owned a Go-ped you need to understand that you will have to maintain the scooter. The carb will need to be tuned from time to time, you have to oil the air filter, keep air in the tire, keep screws tight, and make sure you've mixed gas/2 stroke oil properly.

If you take care of this scooter you will love it for a really long time.

Plus, the current price is cheaper than what you can normally find a used one for.

I got the goped a week ago. It come with nice package but if inspect in detail you will see it has been used and changed. The tire show it has been ridden, the gas tank smell of gasoline, missing tool. I have to buy tool and spent more than half a day to assemble and adjust the goped because it came wrongly assembled.
Then the kill switch not working after the first ride.The scooter feel it doesn't want to move want I accelerate.
On the second ride, it dead on half way when I am back from school.
Then I call the number and it not a working number. End of the story.
Don't be trap because of the cheaper price.

Where do I begin? This Go-Ped scooter is certainly the worst product I have ever purchased in the over $500 price bracket in my life. I am a 47 year old father, bought it for my 14 year old son's birthday, it lasted 10-12 minutes, broke in the worst way and has been in the shop for over a month now waiting on parts which I will have to pay for plus the labor. The clutch broke first but when our local motorcycle shop was going through it they noticed the spark plug ceramic was cracked also. Basically, my shops manager said ALL scooters are junk and Go-Ped is worse than most and I would have been better off buying any number of scooters at half the price of these Chinese made pieces of garbage (oh yes, they are made in China even though they claim they are made in America). Bottom line, I thought I did my research, I thought this must be the best one on the market, but trust me, it is wasted money and has hurt my reputation with my son (at least temporarily). That said, I am buying him a dirt bike for Christmas. Do not buy this or any Go-Ped product, you will be disappointed I promise you! Oh yes, the packaging was terrible, just thrown in the box, the scooter had several blemishes on it in many places. Just the worst quality on every level! And by the way, don't expect Go-Ped to stand by you, they won't, in fact, they won't even return my calls and Amazon, well, they should be ashamed selling such crap - they won't stand behind me either.
