Recently bought this inverter to use as dedicated DC inverter for AC refridgerator onboard my boat. Seems to be working fine but time will tell. Fridge was AC/DC but DC inverter built into the fridge was not funtioning. Running fridge on DC power full time under way and switch plug over manually to AC while docked.

I purchased this inverter to power my iMac when dry camping in my Airstream (dry camping is camping with no electricity or water) I have a generator but I do not want to run it every time I need to use my iMac so the inverter is the hot ticket, allowing me to use the motorhome's 12 volt batteries to power my computer. This is the only inverter I have ever owned so I can't really compare it to anything but I can tell you it gets the job done. I have used it to power my iMac and charge my MacBook simultaneously, I've used it to power a coffee maker and a few other small appliances. I have owned it for a little over one year and it never fails to do it's job, enough said.

I've purchased a few inverters in the past but none would power all my different types of electronics. This one does because it's modified sine wave which allows me to power newer stuff like a DVD players or a laptop where none sine wave inverters would not be able too it.
