You'll feel like you're sitting down with your best buddy and indie publishing mentor when you read this book. Tons of great tips! Even with my year of research and badgering of anyone and everyone, I uncovered at least a half-dozen things I wasn't aware of.

If you're going to spend the time, effort and expense of self-publishing, read this first. Then read it during. Read it again after. There will be something to help you out, every step of the way.

This kindle is a great read for anyone wanting to write a kindle or self publish a book. There is so much information here that helps people like me that publishes kindles. I especially liked the part where tagging is explained as it is great information to have if you want people to find your kindle.

The author does a great job of writing and sharing the knowledge she has on this subject. I cannot think of anything that was left out that one would need to know in order to write a kindle.

I plan to keep this kindle and read it over and over from time to time as there is a lot of good information in it and I want to make sure I absorb it all. This is a great kindle and I will recommend it highly.

Written in clear, simple language, this guide takes you through all the steps to self-publishing for independent authors, for both ebooks and print books. The author is self-published herself, and is very open and honest about what worked and didn't work for her. There is so much in here--the various places you can publish, how-to's for formatting, do's and don'ts for marketing and promotion, what's worth paying for and what you can do yourself. Lots of addresses and links, for everything from the US Copyright Office to publishing software to recommended cover designers.

Go Publish Yourself! is a step-by-step, easy-to-read guide about the self-publishing process. Author Katie Salidas draws upon her experience of starting her own publishing company and offers not only a guide to putting together a polished product, but information on how to market it, something even a traditionally published author will find useful. The book encompasses everything from obtaining ISBN numbers to creating an attractive cover. There are sections on both bound and ebooks. Salidas also provides several useful links at the end of the book.

I like that the author stresses the importance of submitting a book to multiple critiques and hiring the services of a professional editor before publication. Right off the bat, she cautions that self-publishing isn't likely to make one a millionaire and that creating and promoting a book takes a lot of effort. She also stresses that there is a financial investment and hard work involved in doing the job right, but if someone is willing to put in the work, it can be done. I would recommend this book to anyone researching the possibility of self-publishing.
