My 18-month-old Loves It.,
By
This review is from: Go Go School Bus Radio Control (Toy)
Soft body, simple control, cute design. The two-button design allowed my 18-month-old to figure it out pretty quickly. The one-directional turn feature is better than it sounds--the bus pivots on its center. It uses one button to go straight and one to pivot to the direction you want to go next.
It is a bit loud, but that is nothing a piece of scotch tape couldn't fix.

This is a perfect first remote. We got it for my son who is 2 1/2 yrs old. I do think he is a bit young, probably more suited for a 3 year old. We have had great fun with it, however. The rest of our family can use it to chase the twins around & they love it. It is pretty resilient too. We have only had one hub cap pop off (now, isn't THAT realistic?!) and it was easily poped back on. It is pretty easy on the batteries too.

Needs a rare screwdriver,

This is a cool little remote control school bus I bought for my 2 year old son. Trouble is, in order to get the battery into the bus part (the hand held remote also needs batteries, but they are easy to install) a tiny, very long phillips head screwdriver is required. I have a LOT of tools, but not this one, and of course its Christmas, so getting one today is out. So he's having fun using it like a regular push car, but the remote hasn't even hit his radar. WHY OH WHY do toymakers to idiot things like this???

This truly is great for a child's first remote control car. The horn sounds great! Not too loud and it really gets my grandson's attention. The two-button remote control is easy for him to operate and hold. Batteries easy to replace and last a really long time in both the car and the remote control. NO SPECIAL SCREWDRIVER NEEDED: Just a small phillips is all it takes. Highly recommended! We bought the police car, fire truck, construction loader and school bus. The soft body makes it safe for both child and furniture!

Great Toddler RC,
This review is from: Go Go School Bus Radio Control (Toy)
I love this RC. It runs quietly and is very durable. The body is "soft" and has withstood being kicked, thrown and ridden by our 3yr old. My kid cannot get enough of RC's and letting him play with my collection of zipzaps was out of the question. I have tried other toddler RC's but they are all noisy and work lousy so I just gave up. My kid received this as a gift and on an off chance I decided to give it try before returning it to the store. We still have it. I'll admit that it does not have the allure of the Microsizers or Zipzaps to my little one but he plays with it on a regular basis. It does need a normal screw driver (not a multi-bit --like most people have-- will be too thick to go in the hole on the Bus). Philips No.1 at least 2.5" long.

Let's see. You need two different batteries AND two different sized screwdrivers. So after buying the 9V for the remote control and searching for a long enough screwdriver to open the bus to put in the double As... I turned it on.
*HONK!*HONK!* It's loud. Really loud. Ugh.

Very fun and durable toy. My 3 year old loves playing with this simple remote controlled bus. Very easy to get it unstuck from corners. Highly recommended.

This school bus is a hit. My 2 1/2 year old son loves school buses and this is a nice runabout.
He loves running it around the house. It's very durable, attractive, and entertaining. You press the red switch's top half to make it move forwards, and the bottom half for it to reverse in a circular path. As a result, you can quickly figure out how to get it to go any direction. It does not make too much noise (his parents like that :) ) but moves quickly enough to entertain him. It probably develops some dexterity as well, as he's learning how to keep the bus going around obstacles. Great idea!

I got this bus for my 20 month old son for Christmas. He loves it-while he can't control it by himself much, he's getting the hang of it. It's very durable and can handle a toddler using it.
