Looking forward to more from this author,

I came across this novel in a bargain bin and found the premise intriguing so picked it up. As an Asia aficionado I was curious to read about Goa and to be reminded of good times I spent in Hong Kong. The locations were interesting but the characters were also fascinating and I really enjoyed the way stories over-lapped and characters reappeared. Not a perfect novel, but a great fun read and I am keen to see how this author evolves and look forward to his future work.

engrossing one-day read!,

I've read 30 books in the first 4 months of 2007 and this has been the only book so far in which I've read the entire thing in only one day! Needless to say from the above, I thought that the book was an excellent read for numerous reasons.
Firstly, I found the precarious positions that the characters were into very entertaining... titillating, as a matter of fact. From England to India and Hong Kong, all scenarios had me glued to the pages. Secondly, the style of writing and the plot-line jumping held my attention as I begged for more throughout the day. Lastly, the characters were down-to-earth and easy to relate to. This relationship with the characters makes the scenarios easier to experience through their eyes.

Almost a Go,
This review is from: Go (Paperback)
This book arrived in a timely manner and in good condition, salutes to the distributor. The book itself was not as good as "Bad Traffic" which was my main reason for ordering it. The sequencing of events in the story got a tad messed up. The story had many interesting twists and turns, featuring unexpected results to the cast of characters. I enjoyed this book but honestly, if I'd read it first I probably wouldn't have read his second one. Now I'm looking forward to his next one.
