About the Author
Shari Steelsmith has written or co-authored 10 books. Among them are "Peekaboo . . . and Other Games to Play with Your Baby," "Go to Your Room! Consequences That Teach," and the board book series, Feelings for Little Children, which includes: "When You're Happy and You Know It," "When You're Mad and You Know It," "When You're Silly and You Know It," and "When You're Shy and You Know It."
She holds a degree in English literature from Seattle Pacific University. After a decade of editing children's and parenting books, she is now a freelance writer of books and articles on family, parenting, and educational topics.
Steelsmith and her husband are the parents of three young children. She now lives near Mount Rainier.
