I am not a germaphobe. I am regularly doused with the bodily fluids of my patients. That being said, after 20 years of using a bidet (butt sink) I can't really believe that America is still addicted to toilet paper. Think about it, you keep wiping with TP until you can't see any more brown and that means your clean? Can you imagine applying that same logic to washing hands? Or if you stepped on a dog's land mine while walking barefoot in the park? The whole idea is gross, but if it's your butt I guess smelly and dirty is ok. This product and others like it actually use water to spray you clean. It is wonderful, being clean. No itching, smelling, or skidmarks in your boxers. Clean, Clean, clean just like a shower.

I have had the GoBidet in my bathroom for 4 years now. It is a great unit for existing homes because most homes don't leave room for a stand alone bidet. This little unit converts your toilet to a Bidet. With a handy pull of a lever the spray arm swings out from its hiding place under the toilet rim like a James Bond Gadget. The spray head is aimed at the bulls eye. You pull a second lever that controls the strength of the spray. It goes from gentle to colonic geyser. After your done, you pat dry with some toilet paper. All done.

The neat thing about this product is you can install it in about 15 minutes usng your existing toilet seat. It uses the water supply that fills the tank on the toilet. It can be plumbed for hot as well as cold water as well. The hot water installation looked a little more complex, so I thought I would see how it worked with just cold. I actually don't mind the cold water, it feels wonderfully refreshing. I would recommend this product to every one. Lets quit chopping down forests for our ultrasoft TP and actually get clean for a change.

This is easily the most well-constructed aftermarket bidet attachment you can find for under $600. It's solidly built and has an excellent spray that does everything it needs to. Just beware that if you're putting it on certain Toto toilets you're going to have to get creative with the installation process--especially if it's one of the models where you can't disconnect the water supply without removing the entire tank. I personally just threw away the hardware that GoBidet gave me and put a quick tee connector right on the water supply valve. After that you can use an off-the shelf Delta faucet supply hose to run to the GoBidet (3/8" female to 3/8" male) and never have to move the line going to the tank. This will cost you all of about eleven bucks at the hardware store, so don't bother with their $20 "hot water kit" which is pretty much the same thing.

My biggest gripes are that the instructions are pretty hard to follow if you haven't memorized their parts lists and that they don't give you anything to provide any friction between the arm-like appendage that bolts under the seat and the bowl. You can't ever tighten it down very well unless you want to risk cracking your john, so it always slides around when bumped. I solved this with a strip of silicone that gives the arm a little "grab."

This product was received as advertised. It installed with ease. The fit and finish is excellent. I use it every day.
