My main gripe about this ball is the surface is really slick so you slide on it doing certain exercises. I prefer the textured kind that has more friction.

I used this ball with exercise video 4 times. On the 5th day, my 16 yr old daughter was sitting on it talking on the phone and it exploded, sounded like a tire blowing out and the ball ended up with a two foot piece blown out of it not just a hole.

Though advertised as 65cm, once fully inflated I measured it as 71cm. This isn't a problem unless you are in between sizes like I am (I have a relatively short 31" inseam for my 5'9" height). I probably should have opted for the 55cm.

Otherwise, this is a decent ball. It holds air adequately; I only have to top-off with air once every few weeks. I also like the neutral, pearl color which is much better than the super-bright colors of other balls out there.

I use this ball (in the 65cm size) as a "chair" for my desk in my office. It took a while to get it up to the right size. The pump it comes with is lousy: it fell apart a couple times, and doesn't have much power. However, it did get the job done. The circumference of the ball is supposed to be 81 inches. I got it up to about 70 inches the first day. After 2 days (including 1 day of sitting on it), I was able to inflate it to the full size. So far I haven't had any problems with leaking. The ball is working great as a chair.

This is a sturdy and comfortable exercise ball. I can do all sorts of ab exercises on it as well as a variety of other exercises. The instruction manual it comes with does suggest different exercises but it's not a complete list. Look online for more ideas.

However, I found a new use for it recently. I sit on it with my baby in my arms and I gently bounce on it until my baby is lulled to sleep. Works everytime!

This ball tends to leak a little air, however it comes with a pump and after refilling it is fine again. Overall it is worth the price.

Was looking for the larger size to use at my desk rather than a chair in home office. This is tall enough for me (I'm 5'4"). Makes for "active sitting." It's sturdy and keeps its air pressure. Very satisfied.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this ball. I'll probably get the next size up just because I like to have a little more surface area to do crunches. I don't know why people complain about the foot pump -- I think it's great and it only took me about 5 minutes to inflate the ball. There were also instructions included in the box on how to inflate the ball. The only thing they forgot to mention was to take the plug out before attempting to inflate it. I guess they include 2 ball plugs and I didn't notice that one was already in the ball (this is my first stability ball). I also like that the ball is made in Taiwan instead of China. I doubt that Taiwan is much of a step up from China, but I just get tired of purchasing products that are made in China. Seems unavoidable these days.

The gofit balls are a level above the others. They have a shiny surface that doesnt collect dust or stick to your sweaty skin. They all are made of thick, burst resistant material, rather than having to pay extra for that like some lines. Their foot pump is superior to the hand pumps that come with other brands.

I am 5'7" and this ball fits me perfectly, though it does measure out to be larger than 65cm. My ball, when freshly blown up measures out to be 69cm. Even though I am on the shorter end for the 65cm ball, I do not find the extra 4cm to be a problem.

I purchased this item back in late 2009, and I still have it with me today. :) It does leak air over time, but I have not found that to be a huge problem. When the ball gets too soft for me I manually blow it back up, which is probably every five to seven weeks or so, with constant use. I can not think of any previous balance balls that I have used that have not slowly leaked air over time though.

I have used this ball with a mat and without. This thing has been bounced on pavement (did it by accident without thinking - oops!), and has been deflated and inflated, folded and unfolded numerous times as I moved around. The exterior has held up great (really did not expect it to last this long), and is made out of quality, durable material.

There is no plastic smell to this ball either, which is great! I can not recall it having a strong odor of plastic fresh out of the box either.

When this ball goes I will be purchasing another one.
