Would not buy this item - does not fold compactly enough to fit in trunk of std car. When returned, my refund was deducted shipping (was supposedly FREE) for sending the item to me ! Not very happy with this purchase,or the refund process with this return. Check out wal-mart - re-bought a puppy pen from them that is compact,like a pack-in-play & worked great on vacation (and they have a better refund policy if not what you were looking for). I have a 2yr old lab that is past the chewing phase, not sure any soft sided crate would work for chewing puppies.
If you have a large breed dog, this crate is for you. Our Great Dane walked right into this soft crate after we set it up. Good construction and easy to erect. It is big, but with a giant breed dog you need something big. We use it when we travel. It stands up to the dog and the daily set up and take down of travelling. Good quality and a good price.
