Best shoe ive ever worn! Feels like I am wearing nothing. The wind blows through the mesh and cools your feet off. Crazy feeling! the balance is something I dont know why other shoe companies have not figured out. The grip is like wearing mud grips tires!

These shoes are very light, and the sole is wide enough for good support, but not so wide as to get in the way on a trail where foot placement is fairly critical. The shoe has an extra forefoot insert included that makes the shoe a little more cushioned and stable across the sole of the forefoot. Has an interesting lace system that allows more give across the top of the foot in relation with the shoe, but which makes precise foot placement on the trail more critical. Low cut at the ankle, which makes for comfortable running but minimal resistance to ankle turning. Mesh allows foot to stay cool and not overheat as happens with shoes with more leather in them. Sizing is slightly small, so if between sizes go with the next half size up. Since running shoes are for running and not a fashion statement, the slightly awkward look of these shoes doesn't really detract, and I would give them 5 stars except for the slightly too forgiving lacing system. As a trail running shoe, they're very cool and work for most trails, but not for rougher, rocky trails where a heavier duty more protective shoe is a better choice. Foot Smart had them cheap in my size however, and for what I paid, they are a very good and comfortable shoe.
