This shoe seems to be very well made, good sticking, strong material, lightweight, very good protection coming up from the soles to resist wear and muck. The tread design is unusual with spikey sort of design that gives good support on uneven terrain but does not hold dirt nearly as much as tradition Vibram-style soles. Fits well. The only thing I can find to fault them is that they do not "breathe" very well and so may not be suitable for hot climates.

These shoes are well-made and really fit my feet like a glove.
They are sturdy for walking in town and on light trails. People have commented on their style too! So I feel great wearing them and my feet are happy. This is my second pair of Go-Lite shoes, and I love them both.

I got these for when i'm out taking photos for stability and traction rather then sneakers. Well, they are very tight and uncomfortable. My legs ached for hours after wearing them. They do although have great traction but if they are too uncomfortable to wear then what's the use?
Update: Called the Go Lite company and they explained that their special inserts may be the cause of the uncomfortable problem. I'm going to try and see if that makes a difference. They also said that there could be a manufacturing issue with one or both of the shoes and if so they would take the shoes and refund my money.

Not impressed with the shoe. I have a very high arch and had hoped this shoe would work for me. The Precise Fit system was ineffective. None of the inserts worked for me. They have a hook and loop circle to hold the insert in place which could be felt through my socks and was very uncomfortable.
However, the quality of the shoe seems to be good. I decided to purchase a separate shoe liner and arch support. This combination seems to work fairly well. I will probably keep as back up shoes or for yard work. I would not recommend the shoes based on their claims of precise fit. |
