Need I say more? Okay I will. It is too small for the average cat. My 8 month old kitten is already to big for it. I had to buy another one at pet supplies plus. He uses that one. However, it is soft, similar to fleece. So if you have a smaller cat, you would probably get good use out of it. Also there are 2 little balls that hang on each side of it that my kitten took of the first day.

got this cat furniture for my new kitten. at first he wasn't too interested in it because he was so young---but as he got older he started playing on it and with it and now loves it! the item is easy to put together---its not the best quality but since the kitten loves it i rated it 4 stars---seems to be holding up fine and he really gives it a workout. smaller than i expected--but that's my fault for not paying attention to the measurements.

This cat tree is far too small to even intice my very brave 8 pounds cat. It's cover was of very poorly made gold plush. A poor product too small for a kitten.

Easy to assemble, and my cat loves to scratch on the posts. Not too high for jumping. I can't convince her yet to spend quality time laying on it, but she loves to climb around on it.

I'm very happy with it but wish it was a little larger. For the money - you really cant beat it. Unfortunately the cats would rather play in the box that it came in, but the puppy uses it as her bed so it's not a total loss.
