Product Description

Color: Blue

The GoSmart Stylus is the smoothest and most precise instrument for use on an iPad and other touchscreen devices. The see-thru, flexible, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coated tip provides clear and accurate visibility that takes your tablet beyond content consumption and gives you the freedom to Create. Our self-aligning Stylus tip uses an advanced capacitive-coupling design to produce an instrument unimpeded by foam or a plastic disc. You get a clear, unobstructed view of the screen as you're writing, sketching, scribbling or selecting, thus making precise touch with visual clarity possible on tablets and smartphones. As with any Stylus we recommend using a screen protector if you are concerned about light faint scratches on your tablet.

Well balanced, good quality pen.

When you use any of the writing or drawing applications, I prefer Notes Plus, you can easily write using this amazing stylus.

The problem is the metal coil is fragile, and it broke off because I dropped it.

I own an Adonit Jot Stylus Pro, and this stylus beat that hands down in terms of the smoothness and precision of handwriting. While it functioned, my handwritten notes were clearly visible and written quickly. More importantly, there was no loss of contact, which was (and still is) a problem I experience with the Adonit stylus. I would've given this stylus four stars (minus 1 star for the design, since the exposed magnets scratched my cover), if not for the fact that the all-important teflon-coated tip broke after just 2 weeks of usage.

The connecting point is a frail little wire, which I had assumed (wrongly) would hold up with normal usage. I am not a heavy-handed writer in any case. So it was to my utmost chagrin that the tip just snapped off and disappeared in the middle of a meeting, as I was taking minutes. With the replacement tips needing to be screwed into a single little entry point, the broken portion left inside the screw thread basically meant that replacement of the tip was impossible.

So unless you are an incredibly light-handed writer, or the design of the connecting point of this stylus tip is improved, I do not recommend using this stylus on a regular basis.

I have had other stylus before. Mainly the ones with a rubber tip to emulate the finger and even those lacked responsiveness. I was looking for a stylus to mainly write notes with my ipad.
I was deciding between the Adonit series and this gosmart stylus. After reading many reviews I found that the Adonit had the tendency to scratch the screen. There was not much on the gosmart so I just took a risk and boy am I happy.
The stylus feels strong and well built. The tip looks funny and you have to generally use it at the same angle but it is extremely accurate. I can write legibly in cursive on my ipad mini with this stylus.
best thing is, because it is not a plastic whole disk like the Adonit it does not scratch the screen. It doesn't even leave marks. It does click a little when you use it, but that is expected when two hard materials are tapping against each other.

BASICALLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A STYLUS TO TAKE NOTES WITH OR DRAW OR HAVE THAT TYPE OF ACCURACY, THIS IS THE PERFECT STYLUS. do not waste your time and money with any other stylus

This is an OK stylus. It is very easy to use, but it may take a few times to get used to positioning the tip at the right angle to write smoothly. What I love about this stylus is that I don't need to press hard when I write, therefore the writing is a lot faster.
However, what I am not happy with is that the body of the stylus gets oxidized by palm sweat and turns black very easily and quickly. It looked very elegant when I just bought it. After a week or so, it completely turned black, and looked dirty and ugly. That's very frustrating. I really think they should change the material. As of now, I think it is overpriced for the current quality. (It may scratch the ipad screen, coz I sometimes hear the noise 'eckkk' when I am writing and actually see scratches on my new ipad 4 screen.) Lastly, I tried to email the company to ask some questions, and it's been a week and nobody has replied.

I like this stylus, it works very very well. However, I'd like it more if they gave you a bunch of replacement tips with the initial purchase. I bent the spring tip the first day I owned this stylus! Be careful taking the cap on and off!

I own an embarrassing large number of expensive styli. This one is the best by far for detailed painting and drawing on the iPad. It glides smoothly and the design of the tip really allows me to see where I am. The GoSmart excells when used for precision masking and cloning. I heard about this through the Procreate forum, and am grateful to the guys who told be about it. I wish the design was more elegant, but it is a great tool! I am glad I have it.
I like the Sensu and the Nomad Brushes for looser work, with the sensuous illusion of really painting. The cheaper microfiber styli are good for navigation. I should also mention that the HandStylus is a fine instrument, and beautifully made.

Tested in Notes Plus on an iPad. I have used an Adonit Jot and the iFaraday RxII. This stylus was by far the best of the 3. Great response, never misses a stroke, and you can see exactly where you are writing for pinpoint accuracy. Until a good active stylus gets developed (and it certainly isn't here yet!), this is your best bet i reckon.

I have tried many styluses including the Jot Pro, which until this came out was my absolute favourite. The GoSmart FEELS much more precise than any other stylus I have used, even if technically it isn't, just purely because you can see right to the centre of the tip and it feels so smooth on the screen.

The Jot Pro has a greater range of movement (i.e. allows greater angles of lean) but the plastic disc just adds that little bit more bulk so it really depends on writing style.

The build quality of the GoSmart is not as good as the Jot Pro (the plastic end cap is pretty poor compared to the rest of the stylus and the little magnets [I assume?] protrude ever so slightly from the side) which make it look a little cheap compared to the great industrial design of the Jot Pro.

However, if you want a precision stylus for a capacitive touch screen device, I strongly recommend this GoSmart. There are active styluses out there (I have the Cregle iPen) but they take some getting used to and only work with certain apps.
