I don't understand all the glowing reviews of this book. This is nothing more than a series of other authors' material. He quotes Canfield, Hansen, even that old standby, Napoleon Hill. Really, I think the self help movement has progressed beyond Hill's teachings. Every other paragraph is a reference to, or quote from, someone else. In my opinion there is nothing new or original here. Know what you want, focus, write down your goals blah blah blah. All rehashed material, not the least bit interesting. You've read all this before if you've read any self help or goal setting books.

I just read Vic Johnson's great new book, "Goal Setting: 13 Secrets of World Class Achievers." This book is a winner.

I always tell my career coaching clients that it is important to set and achieve high goals -- day after day, month after month and year after year. This books will help you do just that.

While I loved the entire book, I was particularly taken with Secret 10 -- Do what others won't do today, so you can do what they can't do tomorrow.

It's all about putting in the extra time and effort to create your life and career success.

Do yourself a favor. Buy and read "Goal Setting: 13 Secrets of World Class Achievers."

The Kindle version is only 99 cents.

And, this book comes at a great time. We're at the end of the year. It will help you get a head start on your 2012 goals.

If you're ready to get clear about what you want in life, and then actually GET IT, this is the book you've been looking for! As someone with a Ph.D. in psychology, I know a thing or two about setting and achieving goals; however, this book took my current knowledge to a whole new level by illustrating exactly how "World Class Achievers" operate.

Vic not only provides structure around goals, but also give the reader specific skills to utilize for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. No need to reinvent the wheel, just utilize the proven methods outlined in this gem! If you're truly ready to achieve your goals, do yourself a favor and GET THIS BOOK!!

This book is a very easy to follow guide on one of the most important things in achieving in one's life. The exercises at the end of each chapter make it easy to implement. It's written in a very down-to-earth, commonsense manner. Very motivational - more so than any other similar book I've read. It has to be absolutely the best value for money book I've ever purchased!!!

I have been following Vic Johnson's wisdom for several years now and have never been disappointed in the great things he has to offer. His latest book - Goal Setting: 13 Secrets of World Class Achievers - is absolutely one of his best!

Vic's writing style has a way of taking timeless wisdom and putting it in words that are down-to-earth and easy to understand. Vic knows the importance of personal goals (since his constant use of them has changed his personal life), and now he simply wishes to share those time-tested truths with all those who seriously wish to move their lives forward.

You will find that this book will turn out not to be just a one-time read but you will find yourself refering back to it time and time again as you move forward from one success to the next.

While I don't want to steal the thunder from 2011, getting this book today will help you launch 2012 in a spectacular fashion.

Vic Johnson does an excellent job of succinctly wrapping up what it takes to really start achieving, instead of just thinking about. Many of the points I have heard before, but Vic's style (blunt at times) and desire to help others "make it", really help to bring the concepts to life. His practical exercises help transform the concepts to action and reality. Easy to read and understand, this could be the best 99 cents you will ever spend! Do yourself a favor and don't delay!

I think this Little book is very valuable, and extremely useful. It is a very solid compendium of previous works on self-motivation and development.

In all honesty, for 0.99 USD, it is a steal.

What I liked most was the exercises and the clear path outlined to develop the attitudes and state of minds associated with higher productivity and living a more full, rich and meaningful life.

I started reading the book and found it hard to put it down. I didn't.

I didn't do the exercises at the time, but now I have already started on them, and they are really helpful to change states of mind.

If you think you can be a high achiever being a pessimist and complaining and badmouthing yourself and others, this book is going to feel very touchy-feely, and you won't probably take anything from it. If you, on the other hand, understand that the way you think and talk to yourself is one of the main determinants of your conducts, and your conducts are what make or break you, then this book is absolutely full of great advice for you.

Definitely very entertaining and useful read. For 0.99USD it's a real steal, and could be the door to become a better person and life.

This book got me interested in the author. You'll find lots of great ideas here.
