This is a really cool flash light.

My only disappointment was the strap broke within the first day of use..easy fix but perhaps make it more durable as many people will hang this off their hiking packs.

I have other solar rechargeables that I got from Costco that are better and cost less.

Nothing impressive about it. Not as bright as the description implied. The first one was defective and the seller promptly offered to replace it but when I requested a refund they said I would have to go back to Amazon and return the item at my cost (jump thru hoops). I said if it's going to be that way just replace it. I took several days to get replacement. When I got it, charged it and turned it on it was just okay. I have other solar rechargeables that I got from Costco that are better and cost less. I would not have had to go the ordeal with Costco if I wanted a refund.

I purchased this flashlight to keep for emergencies and to use while camping. The light output is acceptable for the amount of LED's the flashlight contains. I rated it 3 stars because it doesn't seem very durable. It feels light in the hand and I'm concerned that it won't survive possible rough handling. I plan on using it for the coming camping season and I'll report back if there are problems.

Update:
Never made it to the camping season. I charged the light and my 8 year old daughter started using it to go from her bedroom to the bathroom at night. After about two weeks of this the light stopped working. Light won't come on so I tried leaving it in the sun to see if it would recharge with no luck. If it can't survive an 8 year old girls expeditions to the bathroom do you really think it would survive a season of camping or bouncing around in the glove box of a truck?

After having purchased the larger Goal Zero flashlight, this smaller one was a bit of a disappointment. The lights aren't as bright as I expected, but it is a smaller unit.

From a size perspective, it's certainly small enough to fit into your pocket and provide just a little light when you need it.

I very much like that it is solar, because I can leave it on the porch charging all the time and then just grab it when I need it. I've had alkaline batteries die out at just the wrong time once too often, so I always use solar flashlights now.

If you're looking for just a small, pocket flashlight for those "just in case" moments, this is fine. If you want a solar flashlight that puts out a generous amount of light, choose the larger Goal Zero solar flashlight.

Good little light and solar on top of that, no batteries to change. Got to love goal zero products..... they got it right!

It's solar, so I can't expect much other than having light when I need it without dicking around with batteries. The light it gives out is enough considering it's solar powered. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, BDU pant pocket, or a range bag/outdoor bag. Unsure what others do with their flashlights that it fails so quickly. I wish it was a little easier to disassemble to view additional information such as the batteries in use, drivers, LED, etc.

Took a loooong time to charge. Maybe because it was the first time. Nice little light.
