The Goat Cried,
By Donna Jordan (Douglasville, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: And the Goat Cried: Southern Tales and Other Chance Meetings (Paperback)
A collection of Southern folk tales reminscent of John Steinbeck's style. The stories are deeply rooted in the Southern tradition of family life, discipline and the morals of country living which are virtually non-existent. An excellent example of morality dependent upon the situation the character is living.Highly recommended for lovers of Southern humor and morality. |
