4.0 out of 5 stars Where have the Greenskins been?, May 5, 2000

In order to answer this question you'll have to get hold of the module!

Goblin's Return Answers the question that has been plagueing Spelljammer DM's everywhere...what happened to the Orcs and Goblins since the Unhuman war? Well they have been busy and it's up to your band of intrepid adventurers to prevent an invasion of the known Spheres and a second Unhuman war.

The possibilities this adventure leaves behind it are truly endless. For starters you could seek out the sequal adventure 'Heart of the Enemy' and continue the campaign or simply plunge into a scenario of hordes of invading greenskins (this is a very good idea if you have a party of particularly violent spacefarers who want to smash Gobbos!). I could go on all day but suffice enough to say that I wish I DMed more than one group of players so that I could have tried several permutations.

With several new ship designs and a really nasty new race of greenies there is plenty for the inventive DM to get his or her teeth into. The adventure itself is best suited to players who think first and act later as the majority of the time they are acting as spies for the Elven Navy aboard an enemy Base Ship. Players who are too impulsive will end up dead very quickly.

An excellent adventure of intrigue mixed in with several notable bouts of explosive action.
