I ordered this book and when I first got it I was struck to my knees and my love of Christ rose to levels I could only hope for. Sentances would bring me to tears, because of the powerful way they were written and what they said. I can say this with my entire heart, my faith grew by leaps and bounds because of this book and in particular the secrets of the rosary, which is included in this book. I hope you all buy this book either for yourself or for someone else . It is perfect for any and all Catholics, you will find that you will read this book for the rest of your life, and each time you read it you will learn something new
God Bless

This review is from: God Alone: The Collected Writings of St. Louis Marie De Montfort (Hardcover)
At last there is a compilation of all the known written works of St. Louis Marie de Montfort in one volume! Not only is it important for those of us who seek to deepen our understanding of The Incarnation, one sees a side of the great saint that is normally not known. Many Catholics fail to see the importance of what St. Louis was all about, however, Pope John Paul II, who had read all of his works and took them to heart, is a true example of what will happen if we take the writings of this great saint to heart.

a dazzling and rich compendium,
This review is from: God Alone: The Collected Writings of St. Louis Marie De Montfort (Hardcover)
I bought this book several years ago during a phase of immersion in religious and Marian devotion, and have received numerous blessings and graces by implementing its suggestions in my life. God will not be a debtor to anyone, and if you truly take Him at his Word, He will richly bless you.
I knew this as a general rule with God, but what surprised me was the way in which He blessed me in my life with graces and good relations with others as a result of my dedication to Him and to the Blessed Virgin. Please don't misinterpret me - this is not a means to an end, and is not of course true devotion if this is the end in view - but an byproduct of seeking God first in your life is blessing - "seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you as well." As it turns out, and St. Louis de Montfort is the expert here not me, that God blessed the Blessed Virgin with singular graces and merits, such that He prefers to act through her as a kind of intercessory figure and repository of graces and blessings. Thus, devotion to the Blessed Virgin is like being good and close and intimate friends with the accountant for King Solomon or in contemporary terms, perhaps the collected European royals. But the difference is that God yearns to bestow blessings on all who befriend the mother of Jesus, while earthly kings prefer cheap accountants and do not care who befriends them, and would perhaps prefer if they had no friends. Look to St. Louis de Montfort as a wonderful way to experience the grace and beauty and healing that a relationship with the Blessed Virgin can bring. And then be pleasantly surprised but not shocked at how God overloads your life with blessings!
