4.0 out of 5 stars Resourceful Information About the Ancient Hebrews, June 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: God the Black Man, and Truth (Paperback)
This title gives a lot of information on who the Ancient Hebrews were and their history and culture. The book was written by the leader of the first group of African Americans to return to Israel as prophesied in the Bible. Although he gives sound biblical proof of the the Black man and his god. He does believe that the way this god handled himself of ancient time is the way of God almighty. The difference between "God the Truth and the Black Man" and "From Babylon to Timbuktu" is that Ben Ammi uses more Biblical than documented historical proof and that Ben Ammi professes to be the Messiah of Israel and has written his litterature to entice blacks to join his cult. Rudolph Windsor is more of a historian/cultural type investigator. I feel that this book and those like these are a must for soceity both blacks and whites to yield some insight as to who these ancient people and their god were. "Ultimate Deceit" a new and upcoming title deals more with how the races and god and wars all began. It shows that racism, and discrimination against the differences in human beings began with the gods(including god of the OT) and was past first to the black man.

5.0 out of 5 stars TRUTH, January 20, 2001
By
Octavia Ruffin (Charlottesville, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God the Black Man, and Truth (Paperback)
Brother Ben Ammi has uncovered for readers the ultimate truth that many have rejected and continue to reject as time passes. This book is not one that offers the choice to like or dislike it, the choice is rather to reject or embrace it. The knowledge that this book provides is enough to force any serious reader to stop and truly analyze the society in which we live. Something is terribly wrong. Brother Ben Ammi points this out and provides solutions and answers to the problems and questions at hand. This is a must read simply because you can't get this kind of guidance from any other leader. Ammi points out that it is not about religion. It is about righteousness. If you are in doubt that a different exists between religion and righteousness, this book will definitely destroy that doubt by shedding light on the truth, biblically and historically. Also, this book provides a foundation for restoring African American souls, which have in many ways been cut off from God. It is time that African American take their rightful place and accept the spiritual responsibility, which will lead to their rise and prevent their demise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truth in it's purest form, October 20, 2003

Every soul on the planet would benefit from reading this book. I read it eight years ago and my life has never been the same. There's something about Ben Ammi's words that are just not debatable. Once you hear absolute truth, you'll recognize it immediately, because it's proveable and knowable...it's not mythical. Now that you've identified the truth about so many things essential to your well-being, you must either make the changes necessary to bring yourself into alignment with it, or try to ignore it, and pretend you never heard. While changing may not seem the easiest choice in the beginning, the alternative is much more painful, because once your eyes have been opened, you will always know what you saw.

5.0 out of 5 stars Christians, you cannot read with an open mind and still wait, August 16, 2004
This review is from: God the Black Man, and Truth (Paperback)
for the "soon" return of Jesus. This book is good for those pseudo-religious intellectuals that think they know everything about "religious truth". Those type of people who put bumper stickers on their cars that say "He said it, I believe it, that settles it". They take no responsibility for studying on their own. Anyway, have your bible ready when you read this, so Ben Ammi can walk you through this very emotional (for christians) subject material. ALL of his books are powerful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Truth, April 3, 2006
By
This review is from: God the Black Man, and Truth (Paperback)
This book is a must read for anyone who is searching their soul to understand what's going on around them in this maddening reality that we live in. Even though I know that Ben Ammi has since the writing of this book been proclaimed as the "Messiah" by those who are members of his cult, you can't argue with truth and this book is "truth."
