There are few male voices that completely put a shiver up my back. Daniel Rodriguez has one of those voices. "God Bless America" is gorgeous and the intro by Mayor Giuliani is very touching. But I think the highlight of this CD is the 2nd song "We Will Go On". It was written about Sept. 11th. His voice is so moving and emotional in it. I cried when I first heard it and it is a wonderful tribute to our country. Thank you, Mr. Rodriguez, for being so brave in your everyday life as an NYPD officer, for sharing your talent and for giving a voice of hope to us all.

I don't usually have a strong response to patriotic songs, and I don't always appreciate songs geared to pull out one's emotions. Despite this, I have to say that this man does something on this CD that stirs my soul. I bought this CD because I had seen Rodriguez sing several times in the aftermath of 9/11 and I knew that this is something I would want to have "for posterity's sake". What I didn't know was that I would enjoy it so much! His rendition of both of these songs is fervent and rousing. In addition to all this....what can you say about Rudy Giuliani reciting the intro for "God Bless America"? It brought tears to my eyes. And I thought I was all cried out! A good CD - a good Cause. How can you not get this one?

This performance by Officer Rodriquez is very moving. I had the pleasure of seeing him do it live at Yankee Stadium during the play-offs. Everytime I hear his version, I get that lump in my throat just before the tears start falling. Even if you hate this song, please buy the CD....all proceeds are going to the World Trade Center Widows and Children's Fund. Thank-you.

I first heard him on the Today show, where his voice drew me to the TV where I felt overwhelming emotions welling up as he sang. Even without all that is tied to the events of 9-11-01, his voice was simply beautiful. To watch him was powerful, as his face showed the heart with which he sings the words of God Bless America. He wore his heart on his NYPD sleeve and it came out as a voice to be heard.

Rodriguez has a voice that truly reaches for the depth of feeling many of us have for America. He expresses the glory of our flag, our people, and our country.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED, DIDNT KNOW IT WAS ONLY A SINGLE, ADVERTISED IN A MISLEADING WAY

Daniel Rodriguez version of God Bless America is quite stirring when it came out after the 9/11 attack. I commend him for his talent and the way the song came out in the end. GOD BLESS AMERICA INDEED!!!
