We received this book as a gift when my daughter was baptized, and it was in heavy rotation from about 9 months to 3 years old. There was one point where she wanted it read every day! The illustrations are very well done and are interesting for a child to look at (hiding bugs, cats, dogs, bunnies, etc.) and the story rhymes. The gist of the book is that God has created flowers, sunshine, water, animals, friends and family. This book is not slanted toward any denomination, so it would be suitable for many different faith backgrounds.

I bought this book for my son as he was given another by the same writer and illustrator as a gift. I loved the whimsical drawings and positive message so much, I just had to buy this one as well. He's four now, and we've enjoyed years of reading and imagining ourselves in these gorgeous illustrations.

A WONDERFUL prayer book for infants and toddlers,

Every night, our 2 year old asks to read her "prayers" - this book. She absolutely loves it. We have been reading it to her since she was 8 months old, and she keeps it close by her bed. The illustrations are great and she loves to point every thing out on each page. A great book to get your baby started on saying her prayers!

My husband and I have been reading this boardbook to our 11 month old daughter since she was born! It is part of our bedtime ritual because it is short, colorful, has a catchy rhyme and it is prayerlike- "God bless my eyes, ears, lips, nose, etc...". Now that she is older - we are able to start teaching her about her different body parts by pointing them out as we read them! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this book and will be giving it as a gift to all of our friends with infants and toddlers!!
