Elreta Dodds is an Associate Minister of Faith Christian Community Church located in Port Huron Michigan where Rev. Link Howard III is Pastor. She has authored and published four books, the titles of which are, "For Christians who are Seriously Dating or would like to Be (2004)," "Is God a Chauvinist? The Bible and Women (2002), " "What the Bible Really says about Slavery, (2000)" and "The Trouble with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam (1997)." Dodds is certified in Advanced Church Ministry through the Evangelical Christian Association and is also certified in Ministry through the Faith Center for Christian Education. She has a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Bacholor of Arts degree in Psychology, both of which were obtained from Wayne State University where she graduated with Honors. Dodds is also a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Masters Level clinical Social Worker. She has signed books and lectured throughout the country since 1998. Dodds has also been interviewed on several radio and television programs including "American Black Journal " (Fall of 2006) and the Christian Television Network. She has been guest speaker at churches in New York, California, Miami Florida, Chicago, Dubuque Iowa, Southfield Michigan, Flint Michigan, Port Huron Michigan, Smith's Creek Michigan, and Detroit.
