Theresa Burns is originally from Chicago, Ill.
For over 25 years she has been working as a freelance Illustrator-Her favorite jobs are Illustrating Childrens books.
When she was five,she told her best friend that when she grew up,
she would make books for "us".
She Graduated from C.C.A.C. in Oakland Cal.

She wrote and illustrated her first book for Harper Collins-
since then she has illustrated 16 other books for different authors and publishers.
She has been a member of S.C.B.W.I. for many years.
Her work has had very good reviews in Publishers weekly,School library journal and her most recent book(written by Todd Schwartz) "This Bear and That bear " won honorable mention in the Writers Digest Magazine awards for self published Authors and illustrators.
Besides Illustrating and writing,Theresa paints murals for homes and businesses. She also designs t-shirts and graphics.
Her work has been shown in galleries across the country.
Ms. Burns now lives and works in south Florida.
