This review is from: God Encounters: The Prophetic Power Of The Supernatural To Change Your Life (Paperback)
This is a good book to help keep the fire going to pursue God's presence. If you're someone that's just beginning to seek more of God, this can be a good book to increase your faith to seek a closer relationship with Jesus and hope for the supernatural in your life.
It's a timely book for this generation...

Excellent book on Godly encounters via dreams and angelic activity based on a biblical perspective. A must read for any Christian who desires an understanding of the prophetic. Time for me to read this again.

Warning!,

This review is from: God Encounters: The Prophetic Power Of The Supernatural To Change Your Life (Paperback)
Apostle Peter predicted two thousand years ago "Jesus must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything." Despite what scripture states, the author claims that she had daily, nightly visits for months with Christ.
The encounter that she states that she has with Jesus is so blantely demonic that its scary to think that people live in this state of mind. Assess her words (if you buy the book), the spirit that is encountered never states to her that he is Jesus the Christ but rather upon the encounter, exhibits withen her "terrible fear".....Listen people, these encounters are very typical of occult movements. The author assumes it is JESUS WITHOUT TESTING IT! She actually receives confirmation from her children in which they tell her that they had dreams of angels and a horse one night....therefore, in her mind, she is confirmed that it was Jesus and proceded to come into agrreement with this entity. Did you hear me? The children stated that they saw angels. not jesus but angels. DEMONS are angels as well and there is a reason that Jesus stated they disguise themselves as light! This woman and her bizarre husband are part of a occult movement that worships angels. I mean we are talking everything from Astral projection to metaphysics and just recently her collouges are engaging in raising the dead (Patricia King of Xtreme Prophetic) Do a google search on Todd Bently, Bob Jones, Paricia King wih the words false teachings and see what you pull up.....better yet YouTube the saME AND WATCH THE BIZARRE BEGIN! To make a long story short, I believe that this lady loves jesus, but her husband, through his occultic dealings has allowed her to come under that same energy force. If you read the book (which I discourage unless you want to keep updated on the occult and how it is penatrating the church), be warned and have a mind focused on Christ................you will not see him truth throughout these pages but rather new age and demonic to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL. Dont be fooled how they periodically mention Jesus throughout but rather assess the "theme" and you will find out what I am talking about. If one is looking for a God encounter he finds it in Jesus, throughout daily life situations and the written word. I need to mention that I do believe that he (God)exhibits supernatural but supernatural encounters are rare and not to be exploited. They (supernatural experiences) really are not the essence of the true faith that Jesus spoke of and actually warned us about putting our focus on them. The author and her kind are really like children in the spiritual, always needing sighns, visions, confirmation angel appearances, gold dust, gems and dreams in order to supply their faith. However, dont be fooled, what the author is experiencing in her writings are very real, she and her husband are not crazy in the least but are having real physiological experiences. They simply are very naive and have come into agreement with false spirits. The people themselves (mentioned above) are not necassarly to blame for this movement in demonic activity but should be held accountable as they are facilitating its energy force and will. I am confident that Jesus will especially deal with this spirit warfully when he returns. One more item to assess...............the author allowed 2 ladies to pray over her that initiated this whole experience. She never gives details as to who these people are, credentials, rapport, etc. When I read this I was under the impression that she really didnt know these ladies (and if she did she doesnt disclose that), but went ahead and ALLOWED them to pray over her..........to come in agreement with her about some sort of deliverance. People, do not allow people to pray over you UNLESS you know full well that they are in Jesus and that it aligns with his word. Prayer should CONFIRM what Jesus is ALREADY speaking to you....not some new and radical spiritual awakening. Spiritual suicide will be the end result indeed Finally, let me give you one bizarre and weird example of this woman and her false ministry. After her 2 month daily, physical encounters with Jesus (demon) (yes daily, physical and for months) she eventually goes on and believes she is called to be a "spiritual warrior" of sorts (by the way, jesus states that he has called us to be "soldiers" not "spiritual warriors" which is the job of Michael and Gabrial, Gods real angels). One day her and her friends actually go to wall street and believe that they are to battle some sort of demon/pagen spirit that has something to do with greed or money of sorts. After their 'warfare in the middle of the stock exchanging, they see visions that "confirm" that what they did was alighned to Gods guidance their duty. To make a long story short, she and her ministry believe that THEY are the ones responsible for the purposeful wall street crash of 2008! I am not kidding, the delusion of these people are far beyond cult movings I have seen over the past 25 years. God clearly states that when you go outside of Christ and PURPOSLY seek this stuff, you will fall pray to dellusions. I am not sure what part of that scripture that the author, her husband or her ministry associations doesnt understand. May Jesus, The Great I am, destry the works of the enemy |
