The Gaither Vocal Band is something else. Each one is a great performer solo or together with the group. I highly recommend their work. This album is their best yet. David Phelps is a most welcome addition to the group, as his voice is so astounding. So is Guy Penrod's and Mark Lowry's and of course, Bill Gaither's great voice. I will buy everything they put out. Can't be enough.

Wow!!! Is the best way to describe this recording! From "God is Good" to "The Star Spangled Banner", this CD shows why the Gaither Vocal Band is one of the best quartets to ever sing southern gospel music. If you havent purchased this CD yet, I HIGHLY recommend that you do!! This is the one that everyone needs in their collection!

Bill, Guy, David, and Mark, are the most reMarkable Quartet ever there is No other group that can match the harmony in the studio or on stage you won't be dissapointed, this is the best one yet, my personal favorite is "Child Your Forgiven" David Phelps is the best First Tenor Ever Simply Put, I Highly Recommend this CD to Anyone.

Classic Gaither Vocal Band music. Great harmonies and very inspirational. My kids like it too!

This is the ultimate male quartet! They all GIVE so much, and they sound great. The lyrics and music are pure gospel for my soul. They are 4 separate great singers, who can make your head spin, as they sing their solos, but mainly they sound SO divine and are therefore my favorite among quartets.

This is probably my favorite GVB CD that I've heard. The songs are filled with so much emotion, like in "Satisfied", you really feel the song when they sing it. It's a good blend of up-tempo songs and the "monster ballads" they're known for. If hearing David Phelps on "Child, You're Forgiven" doesn't bring a tear to your eye, nothing will. And the song "He Touched Me" has always been a favorite of mine, from hearing it in church as a child and even now. And their version of "The Baptism of Jesse Taylor" is amazing. I was so happy to be able to hear that song again! The arrangements are great and the guys have made a superb CD that I keep near to listen to all the time!

This is the first real recording with David Phelps on tenor, if you don't count the Christmas CD. This very well may be the greatest recording ever done by any artist ever. Even the weak songs are pretty good, but there are about 9 or 10 you will listen to a 1000 times.

I am a fan of various styles of gospel quartet music. The Catherdrals, Gold City, 4-Him, the list goes on. The Vocal Band has risen to the pinnacle in my opinion. This CD is jam packed full of uplifting songs. Child You're Forgiven brings to mind God's salvation and is my favorite song. The rendition of the Star Spangled Banner had me wanting to stand up in my car--while driving. Every song is awesome, this is one CD you won't regret purchasing.

Just when I thought I had their best CD, the GVB came out with "God Is Good". "He Came Down To My Level" touched me with it's message and AMAZING harmony! Guy and David's voices blend like no other lead and tenor in Gospel music. Their ministry WILL make a change in your life. Thanks GVB for a great effort!
