Must read for Christians looking to educate themselves,
By Richard W. DeLorme (Rochester, New York United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God and Government, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
I was impressed with the volume of detail in this work. It was overwhelmingly specific in many areas and supported the Christian Heritage of our Nation. It accurately quoted scripture throughout and I many times was impressed with the common sense our historical figures had towards government. We were truly one nation under God and it is clear how far we have decayed as a nation from reading this work.

The influence of Christianity in the early history of the US,
By Marshall St. John (drcsoa@vol.com) (Signal Mountain, TN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God and Government, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
This book is extremely valuable for information about the influence of Christianity on the founding of the USA. There are extensive quotations from Columbus, the Mayflower Compact, the founding fathers, and so on, showing that America was founded by Christians with the intent of spreading the Gospel of Christ, and building the Kingdom of God on earth.

A Valuable Home-School Resource,
By Nathan Albright (Tampa, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God and Government, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
A bit difficult to read, since it is organized like a textbook, this book nonetheless presents a very compelling examination of the biblical view of government that should be a useful textbook in civics, especially for home-schooled and parochial school students. Someone reading and answering the questions in this book will be well on their way to understanding the proper role of religion in government and the reason for American constitutional government.

God and Government,

This review is from: God and Government, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
Every American should read this book. It as a simple explanation of our government exercising powers beyond their entitlements.
Somehow we being led away from God by this society in general. Starting with our media, motion picture industry, television, Internet, pornography, the homosexual agenda, etc. We have somehow become estranged from the Bible, which is the only true book written, even though it is difficult to comprehend. Many times the revelation will not be given or received because of the hardness of their hearts. (God is the only being that can read your heart) So people will condemn, distrust, or claim inconsistency, with the writings. We must remember the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, that wrote the New Testament, and is guided by the Holy Spirit with all their writings cannot error. Jesus established one Church (The Catholic Church) when he said to Peter, you are rock and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.

I've found this book a pleasure to read, and very much enjoy the historical illustrations which are prevalent through-out. If you have any interest in being a more well-rounded individual, learning how to facilitate a flourishing family atmosphere, or how to better your community and nation, you owe it to yourself to read this book! Also highly recommended for law students, and any aspiring leadership.
