A delightful, inspirational book. Contains numerous short stories about patiently waiting on God. I have used this as a devotional many times.

Highly recommend!

This is an amazing book on hearing God's voice and doing what He says. Mary Gheegh was a Reformed church missionary in India for almost 40 years. The book is a compilation of short stories of how listening to God works in all types of situations and problems.

If you're thinking this is a far out view on hearing God's voice then you're wrong. There's not a hit of "charismatic thinking" in this book. Her stories will inspire and challenge you to a greater intimacy with God than you've ever known. I have read and re read this little book probably 20 times and every time I pick up something new. One thing that I'm amazed at is how she uses "hearing God's voice" in evangelism.

Don't judge this book by it's cover. It's really worth reading!!

This book gives real examples of finding direction for your life through seeking God's will. The author was a missionary in India for many years. It is simple, but profound, and can be read aloud to children. The author's view of conflict resolution is especially helpful.
