1.0 out of 5 stars Awful
This book is garbage. It's written by a naive spiritual idiot who believes in a ridiculous tale of some war of the cosmos, rivaling even Scientology's retarded narrative. This book will rot your brain more than TV.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Walk-About Of The Soul, April 16, 2002

This book sat on my nightstand for six months. Once and a while I would pick it up and scan through the pages but the words were so small and the book was so compact that I put it down again. However, one day I was looking for some real in-depth thinking about the reality of this world, I picked up "God I AM" once more and began to read; this time I read to the end. Actually I was in a complete state of euphoria reading this book as it explained in detail so much of what I have been through and gave me so many visuals by which to understand. The information that resides within these pages can be hard to hear as it is not of the normal thinking patterns. But I can assure you that this framework of thought is powerful indeed. It lends itself well in assisting one who is in the state of discovery as the thinking is not intrinsic of the ego, it is inherent of the soul. I would call "God I Am" a walk-about of the soul! A greater journey than I ever expected. Truly I would like to know more of this thinking and where it comes from.

Thank you Peter O. Erbe for such precise, clear thinking. I do believe this book must have been very arduous to write as every sentence is jam-packed with new ways of thinking about and therefore viewing the reality that we perceive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Going Beyond, January 2, 2005
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
There will always be someone to say any particular book is the best, but believe me when I say that in all my years of searching for absolute truth and expanding awareness this book is it.

What sets it apart is the writing, its completely devoid of ego and seems to come directly from the higher source itself rather than an author.

This book is not religious. And neither is the back cover/amazon blurb an indication of what it contains.

What this book does is help you to look past the veil of our reality, our illusion. It shows us that we are just all experiencing a seperation from oneness, the source. But most importantly it gives specific examples and practical ideas on how to heal ourselves and get back to that pure state of ecstasy.

I have read this book dozens of times and with an eagerness that never leaves. I cannot say that about any of the hundred other spiritual books I have read or owned.

There is so much insightful information on so many levels it is astounding.
Once in a while there comes something in life that resonates so strongly, that makes a call that wants to be heard. If you are reading this review just do yourself a favour and get this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1 chord 1 Symphony, October 28, 2002

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
Comparable in impact to the Roy Eugene Davis "The Eternal Way" Peter O. Erbe has a writing style that, in spots I found hard to digest, or understand... fixed only by reading it fluidly in one sweep.

The depth of what is expelled is fathomless... The truth always is. Simplistically complex and rich, yet rich in complex simplicity.

I have been reading this book for... some 2 years now, and find a world of knowledge that echo's through the pages of my past, and whisper's to me the secrets of my future. I have no other choice but to put the book down and remember all the things I once forgot.

Revealed are the nuts and bolts - The brut honest words to knowing thy self. Don't be shy... I never bought this book... this book bought me, and like all books that find you, your's is the choice that my not consciously acknowledge your part in the greater re-union, but you will succumb and this work will jolt your memory and allow your soul to fly.

You will remember. You stand. You will accept your responsibility and you will be... All that you are and all that you can be... You can be nothing else. It is nice to be given the words that you have not yet managed to pronounce. Simple really.

No matter your perceived stage in life... this book is such a relief... I have only maybe 10 books out of my library that crush me, adore me and please me... this book, I almost do not want to finish.

What can you say? Read it and find new words to old feelings once buried in fear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Goes so well with A Course in Miracles, October 28, 2004
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
Those who have worked with A Course in Miracles may find it the easiest to resonate with this book, and so will those who have worked with "Be Still and Know I AM God" meditation from Impersonal Life.

The pages of this book drip with truth. It is simple and straighforward. It's all about love, God, Oneness and neurological changes that occur in the person as he progresses on the spiritual path.

Uninitiated may want to check "Prometheus Rising" simply because that book describes the levels of understanding that are possible as well as things that a person can accomplish on different levels of psychological / spiritual / neurological development.

This book puts things in a wonderful perspective - it enlightens and clarifies important spiritual points.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awakening from your nightmare, November 3, 2005
By
El Solaris RP (SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE Singapore) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
Before I read this book, I remembered reading a book titled "The Power of Belief" by Ray Dodd. Ray mentioned in his book about "I AM" and the opposing belief "I Am NOT". It is either I AM or I AM NOT. Which is it? I AM or I AM NOT. I AM NOT is a dream state, or rather, a nightmare.

I remembered writing a poem after that about an imaginary conversation I have with an angel and asking this angel how do I wake up from this nightmare, or what Peter O Erbe mentioned in his book, amnesia. We are all God having a human experience and worst of all, we have amnesia, and we have forgotten who we are and this amnesia is the root of all our problems.

And after reading Ray Dodd's book, I found Peter's book in a new age store, used book section. Was it an accident?. No. I was ready and my consciousness attracted the book as much as the book was attracted to me. Yes, the book chosed me and I chosed the book. When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

GOD I AM is a fantastic book to read and have, especially if your life is not working, is in a mess, and you need to set if right once more. Do not be surprised if harmony returns to your life after reading this book and applying the wisdom in it.

The information from this book comes from a loving and wise consciousness of which we are all a part of, and Peter is the instrument for the information to be uniquely communicated in a unique flavour. There are many books with the similar themes, but you will be drawn to the ones that you resonate.

Personally, I like Peter's style of explanation, although certain sentences i have to reread to understand the messages in its entirety.

I strongly recommend GOD I AM to put your life back in order again.

Love

El Solaris RP

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book I have ever read., August 17, 1999
By
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
Having been a self help fan basically all of my life, I have not in the volumes I have read come across any work that has had so profound and liberating effect on my consciousness. This book has given me tools of perception and understanding that I have been looking for all my life. Forget Michael Jordan, Peter Erbe is a superstar in my book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Definately Awesome, December 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
After I read the first few pages of the book, my heart felt as if it would explode. I laughed, then cried, then laughed again with the joy of recognition of the Truth. This is definately a book that will expell any doubts about why we are here and what we have to look forward to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Altering. One of the most powerful books I have read., February 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
Life altering. That is how I would describe the impact GOD I AM has had on my life.

Mr. Erbe doesn't just admonish us to rid ourselves of self-defeating thought patterns. He shares with you HOW to eliminate those things from your life, such as judgement and fear. These thoughts rob you of your purpose -- to illuminate your Christ-Self.

Already I have shared information from this book with people I have known for years, and people whom I just met. I plan to buy additional copies simply to give to other people.

It is a book you definitely will not be able to close. Once you read it, you will want to re-read it over and over again.

Thank you Mr. Erbe for sharing this powerful, wonderful information to us.

Buy this book!

This review is from: God I Am: From Tragic to Magic (Paperback)
I have read this book many times and loaned it to some friends who were so impressed that they bought it and loaned it to some other people. The book embodies the same principles as a Course in Miracles and is definitely one of those books that will change your life. A MUST read.
