I purchased a gently used book and it was in great condition. I didn't realize that it was shipped from England so the shipping was very inexpensive.
The book describes Joni's upbringing and her independent personality. After the accident, she was very depressed and spent a long time in the hospital but there were loving friends and family members to help her. She has accomplished a lot in her lifetime and I realized her accident made her faith much stronger. To this day, she has accepted that there will probably be no cure for her but that doesn't hinder her. It is an uplifting book, one that the women's group at our church discussed in a book series. |
