About the Author
Kathleen Bostrom has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) since 1983. She and her husband, Greg, have served as Co-Pastors of the Wildwood Presbyterian Church, Wildwood, IL, since 1991.
Kathy earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey; and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Kathy and Greg have three children: Christopher, Amy, and David.

Kathleen Long Bostrom is an accomplished author who has written numerous children's books, including Sunrise Hill and Mary's Happy Christmas Day. She lives in Wildwood, Illinois, with her husband and three children.

This book has a wonderful message. I read it to my 10 month old daughter often. I want her to know of God's love from a very early age. I love the "Little Blessings" books. The Christian message is easy to understand and I appreciate the ethnic diversity of the illustrations. My daughter has five of the Little Blessings books and I would love to collect them all. P.S.: Good message for adults too.

Being a grandmother and volunteering in a church with an active preschool I was drawn to this book and the additional books in the series..the drawings are charming and sweet. The wording easily understood and loved by all the children in preschool and every young grandchild I give one to. I have purchased five of this particular book and several of the rest of the series. Highly recommend. We adopted Korean girls who are now adults and they love the ethnic variety of the children pictured. Excellent..Cant recommend this book and the series enough. Buy and enjoy and have your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren be enchanted....

After I read my grandson's book to him, I bought several of these books to give to newly baptized babies in our church. I loved the message, the way it was presented, and the illustrations. What better way to let a child know he's loved no matter what he's feeling--angry, naughty, happy, sad. No matter what color or how he looks. Every young one should have this book!
