This book has a wonderful message. I read it to my 10 month old daughter often. I want her to know of God's love from a very early age. I love the "Little Blessings" books. The Christian message is easy to understand and I appreciate the ethnic diversity of the illustrations. My daughter has five of the Little Blessings books and I would love to collect them all.

P.S.: Good message for adults too.

Being a grandmother and volunteering in a church with an active preschool I was drawn to this book and the additional books in the series..the drawings are charming and sweet. The wording easily understood and loved by all the children in preschool and every young grandchild I give one to. I have purchased five of this particular book and several of the rest of the series. Highly recommend. We adopted Korean girls who are now adults and they love the ethnic variety of the children pictured. Excellent..Cant recommend this book and the series enough. Buy and enjoy and have your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren be enchanted....

After I read my grandson's book to him, I bought several of these books to give to newly baptized babies in our church. I loved the message, the way it was presented, and the illustrations. What better way to let a child know he's loved no matter what he's feeling--angry, naughty, happy, sad. No matter what color or how he looks. Every young one should have this book!

Cheery pictures and rhymes celebrating the differences in people with the message that God loves us all. This is my favorite book from the Little Blessings series and it's the perfect book for boys or girls. The cherub cheeked kids make the book extra sweet because they're created by the illustrator for Care Bears.

This book has an outstanding message that is easy for young children to understand. The illustrations are wonderful. Vibrant colors and adorable kids really keep a child's attention. My girls (9 months and 21 months) love this book and they have for quite some time. It's, by far, their favorite. I plan to buy more from the "Little Blessings" line. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to introduce their little ones to the great love God has for all of us!

The pages in this short book are very thick and easy to turn for our 14 month old. Great, simple message to children. Got it as a gift & planning on giving it as a gift soon!

I purchased this book for my two year old for Christmas. We love this book! The rhyming is fun and the illustrations are extremely colorful. The 30 page book holds his attention. We have purchased several of Ms Bostrom's books and would recommend them all!

I love this book. It is perfect for every child and it's exactly what I wanted to teach my little one. This book is a great reference point whenever my inquiring toddler want to remark about someone of a different size, special need or skin color. I just remind "God make each of us special and He loves us all." I gift this often as it really is a special book and my kids love it.

If you're a fan of the "Little Blessings" books, you're sure to want to add God Loves You, written by Kathleen Long Bostrom and illustrated by Elena Kucharik, to your collection. Written in rhyme, like the other books in the series, the text makes it clear that no matter what you look like, feel like or act like, God still loves you.

Here's a sample of the text:

You can be short
or you can be tall.
You can be big
or you can be small.
Your size and your shape
don't matter at all.
God loves you just as you are.

The illustrations are similar to those in other books in the series: cute, colorful and child-like. The pictures fill double-paged spreads with corresponding borders on one page. For instance, a picture of two children playing in a sandbox has a border with a sand-like print, while a page with a boy and his pets has a border with paw prints on it.

What I Like: Everything. This is truly another delightful, child-friendly book with catchy rhymes and colorful illustrations. Its size, and the fact that it's a board book, makes it ideal for little hands. And it's message, that God loves you, no matter what, makes it ideal for anyone.

What I Dislike: Nothing.

Overall Rating: Excellent.

Age Appeal: Baby to preschool.

I like the little blessings series, and this is one of my favorites. It's simple with cute pictures and it has a nice inclusive message that can never be overtold to a child.
