An eclectic collection of religious literature spanning continents, centuries, and divergent faiths, God Makes The Rivers To Flow is deeply inspirational and a highly recommended addition to Interfaith Religious Studies collections and Personal Spirituality reading lists.

I didn't think that this book could get better but this third edition is almost twice the size of the last. It is overflowing with such beautiful and inspirational passages from all the world's religions. I was especially pleased to see that this edition adds many more christian passages to the already glowing contributions from the eastern religions. I use the passages daily for meditation and inspirational reading. The appendix of the book has a great description of exactly how this can be done.

I cannot praise this book enough... it has helped and sustained me so much in my life. Even in times of emotional turmoil, when I picked the book up and opened it at random - it gave me words I needed to hear. It offers a meaningful selection from all the religions. The book is intended as an aid to meditation, but truly it offers more than this. I hope others will benefit from the loving intention upon which the book has been created. (Makes a wonderful gift too, for a young person just starting out in life who may have need of its sustainance.)

This book is a treasure trove of beautiful words crafted by believers in something greater than ourselves. Some of the passages will resonate with you and some may not, but the beauties of these thoughts have the power to transform Us All into more loving souls.

Read from quotations from: Jesus, the Buddha, Lao-Tzu, many saints, and others from many of the world's main religions. When we take these wonderful words into the silence with Us, we can be refreshed, if we desire it to be so. Enjoy!

This is a delightful book and very relaxing to just pick up and read an excerpt at a time.

This is a fantastic book as it shows so very clearly the universal nature of truth. It shows that at it's root, all true spiritual traditions draw water from the same well, be they eastern or western. Absolutely, highly recommended and a great value!!!

All the enties in this book contain a wonderful, uplifting message to impart healing in hard times and also a daily source of inspitation.

If you are practicing passage meditation, then this book has just what you need when you are looking for something to memorize. There are some useful extras in the back as well that give a better overall understanding of the process.

I love this book! It is a wonderful collection of holy writings from all different religions. It validates, at least for me, that all religions are not so different and there are similarities everywhere. A great comfort when members of my family have passed away.

These carefully selected passages have taken me places that I have never been before in meditation. This may seem over dramatic, but I cannot state it any more concisely - this book has changed my life more than anything that has come before it. I'm still humming with the Cosmic Vibration.
