This is a great resource that is exceptionally well done.

First let me talk about the movies themselves. I was a little skeptical when ordering the series because I have seen a lot of bad Bible movies that look like they were filmed in somebody's back yard, but I had seen some previews of the movies online and they looked pretty good. Well, that turned out to be a huge underestimation - the movies are excellent! The production quality, acting, settings, music, cinematography are all first rate and extremely well done. Each movieis exactly what they promised, "theater-quality, epic short film." I thought that was a pretty bold selling line, but each movies lives up to it. I've seen a lot of Bible movies in 20 years of ministry and these are among the best. So kudos to Crown for producing these first rate films!

Second, aside from the production value, the content of both the movies and study guide are excellent. The movies follow the Biblical passages they tell faithfully, without adding or taking away from the text. The study guides give you enough to facilitate a discussion after view the movie without trying to cram too much into one study. The study guide also does a good job of helping you apply the Biblical message to current life and issues. It is a great small group resource and we've used it as a follow-up to a Sunday morning message series on finances.

I purchased the full "God Provides" Boxed DVD Set with all 6 Films. I have to tell you I've watched each film about 7 or 8 times now and I've learned something new and fresh each and every time. My 15 year old boy and my 9 year old girl absolutely love the films and the films really hold their attention as children tend to learn more from visual media. Don't leave these films just sitting on your shelf collecting dust! Show these films to anyone and everyone you come across as they will definitely receive an inspired message from the Lord. I love this teaching series! This film quality is wonderful and the story is true to the scriptures. I will get A LOT of use out of it in my personal study and in study groups. I highly recommend it!

This video series is excellently done. It has a way of allowing the viewer to better understand the scripture account of the events shown in a way that makes you ponder on the things you never thought about before. It is excellent for upper elementary through adults. A great resource tool for Sunday school or bible study as well as personal use.

These films are extremely well done. The films have a study booklet giving questions to ponder. This would be great to use for a Bible study, or an evening worship service. I highly recommend them.
