A Precise Presentation of "Moral Government Theology.",
By C Jean B Wilde (Atglen, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The God They Never Knew. (Paperback)
This book has been one of the most influential books in my life. It was the impetus that created a whole change in my theology, and inspired in me a deeper faith and love for the character of God. Otis presents, what I consider, to be a precise, moving and scholarly view of "Moral Government Theology." This book provided the basis for me to see God as consistantly loving, incredible personal and yet awesomely holy.

This review is from: The God They Never Knew. (Paperback)
This is one of the few books I would reread over and over. It clears the clutter of some traditions we accept uncritically and returns us to a cogent, biblical theology. It is sound in theory and practical in its application. It is one of my favorite, most helpful books in my large library.

For all of us who are looking for a quick and comfortable understanding of who God is, stay away from this book. On the other hand if your comfort zone is not important to you and you want truth more then popular compliance then this book is for you. Only wish it could be updated and release again.
