I just finished reading this book, it is changing the way i view my life. Pastor Rutland so=poke at my school last fall, and thats when i bought the book. I am Glad I did. Each chapter is easy to read, and easy to understand. Lots of breaks in it so you can stop and think about what you just read.

Once again this is one of the most incredible books written by Dr Mark Rutland. These are stories with a theme.
This book weaves his teaching around various passages of scripture in a way that I have never seen before. I consider him to be one of the finest teachers of God's word I have ever read in my 40 something years of following the Lord. I have read and re-read this book several times. I have made these purchases on behalf of friends and relatives as I buy Christian books as gifts for them. All of Dr Mark's books are worth having. I believe I have all of them and have never been disappointed in reading any of them.

Mark is a very annointed, well grounded man who I have enjoyed listening to both from the pulpit and on radio. This book has given me additional insight in how to adjust my outlook as I walk through those valleys of life and His purpose for me in them. Peace and joy are not just for the mountain tops of life, but can be yours all the time. He does an excellent job of showing various aspects of the 'valley walk' by comparing to scripture. If you find yourself in a valley currently, read this and soak it in.....
