RAGE OF THE GODS

This is a pretty kick ass figure. Not the best NECA has made, but its great nonetheless. Once again, the sculpt and details are fantastic! Kratos is ANGRY! He is baring his teeth, though his teeth don't look too clean.
ARTICULATION:
This figure has some nice pose-ability though his legs aren't too great. He has ball-joint arms, head, ankles, and wrists, the elbows and knees are hinged and his arms swivel at the biceps, his waist swivels and hips are a V-crotch as some people say. what ruins the legs is his... uh, man-skirt? Well, the plastic used for his man-skirt is too thick and restrains his right leg, limiting the range on the leg joint.
ACCESSORIES:
What more does the God of War need aside from his BLADES OF CHAOS??!!! He also has two flaming chains and a stand. The blades are actually pretty thick, you don't have to worry about breaking these things. My only problem is that Kratos has a loose grip on his left hand. Might just be me. As for the flaming chains, they are actually made of a brittle plastic. They look great but feel very brittle, if you want to display Kratos, make good use of his stand and be sure he wont fall down. You don't want to break these bad-ass flaming chains! The stand is a simple black oval shape, no details or nothing.
DURABILITY:
The figure feels good, ankles may be a bit weak, and the chains are definitely something to be careful with.
ONE MORE THING:
I had no problems with this figure, aside from whats already mentioned it's a cool collectible and a nice figure. As with many NECA video game figures, this is based off a mature product, I don't recommend this product for children, it's targeted towards adult collectors and fans of the game.

I bought this Kratos figure for my husband's birthday because he is big into playing video games like God of War. He had mentioned how he wanted a Kratos action figure to display in his "man cave." Needless to say he was pumped when he opened it. He doesn't think it looks cheap, and it helps add brutality to his collection of action figures.

God of War: Blades of Athena Kratos is the real name for this figure. I found it in a second hand store in Shanghai for only $15! I have read reports of some breaking, but mine does not have any issues. Though it does seem a little fragile. Articulation is few, but just enough to make him a perfect display piece. If you want him as a toy I do not recommend him. If you want a cool display piece then Kratos is great even if you have not played any of the God of War games.
