Peter J. Kreeft (Ph.D., Fordham University) is professor of philosophy at Boston College where he has taught since 1965. A popular lecturer, he has also taught at many other colleges, seminaries and educational institutions in the eastern United States. Kreeft has written more than sixty-seven books, including The Best Things in Life, Christianity for Modern Pagans, Fundamentals of the Faith and The Handbook of Christian Apologetics.

I thought this book was wonderful. It carefully explores many questions that arise from the statement, "God is Love" and gives well-reasoned answers that are faithful to the Magisterium of the Church. This book is very uplifting because it helps you to really see how God is Love, and how God's love works in our lives. Prof. Kreeft helps you to rise above our common way of thinking about love in society and points the way for a deeper way of thinking about love in general and God's love in particular.

I feel this book has deepened my faith in God and my understanding of some of the Church's teachings on God's love. I find Prof. Kreeft to be very readable, and the pages go by quickly. I think this book is a "must-read", definitely for all adult Catholics and probably for all adult Christians. Quite honestly, when I finished this book I wanted to run into the streets and tell the world about it. I felt like I had been let-in on the world's best kept secret and the time had come to let that secret out!

Peter Kreeft brings to Christians the true meaning of God's love for mankind. His examples and simple theologic reasoning make it easy for all readers to comprehend the great love that God shares with all of us. He puts this into perspective in a very unique way and makes it instructive for the way we need to share God's love with one another.

I have to admit, it's a great book, he takes a very interesting and intellectual approach which I really appreciated. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone that is just trying to find their way of faith in todays world or already has a close relationship with God, or especially for people who are still far away from him, I think its a great book to show to skeptics the true love of God, who is love himself.
