1.0 out of 5 stars A sad attempt to make science from myth.
This book should have been written as a joke; maybe it was. The total lack of critical or analytical thinking and logic that is contained in this piece is only exceeded by some of D. Gish's materials.

It is not intended to be a "Creation Science" work in the strictest sense of the word. It is a popular treatment simply discussing its relevance to the Christian world view. The misrepresnting and ridiculing in the absence of any substantive critique is evidence that Evolutionary philosophy is much more idealogy than scientific theory.

4.0 out of 5 stars God--will be the most important choice anyone will make, May 26, 2007

This review is from: The God Who Is Real: A Creationist Approach to Evangelism and Missions (Paperback)
The purpose of this book Morris says, "is to help people understand why they should consider and then believe the saving gospel of Jesus Christ."----to help those who have been led astray.

This work is a good introduction to creationism: The first part of the book focuses on the science, where the second half mostly concentrates on the spiritual. Morris also donates a chapter on the influences of world religions. A book on creation would not be complete without discussing the first and second law of thermodynamics: these laws go completely against evolution, and is what one would expect of creation. Also, the evolutionary belief is: religion evolved from animism, to ancestor worship, to polytheism, to monotheism; but the facts are we are devolving from primitive monotheism to pantheism. So it is to say:

"It is either the only true religion [Christianity] or else completely false, so no one can remain neutral concerning it."

So why would so many waste their time or give up their lives on a lie. We haven't.............so:

"Christianity is not really Christianity if its adherents are not diligently trying to win non-Christians to faith in Christ."

God, or no God will be the most important choice anyone will make. Both are left to faith, but with the help of this book and many others like it, we are able to find truth through reason. One or the other is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated.

Wish you well
Scott

A very good book for exposing the bankrupcy of Creationist literature. The author was clearly lacking any hint of criticle thinking ability.
