"God Works The Night Shift" has got to be the best book I have ever gotten. The Author "Ron Mehl" puts this story in such an easy way to read and understand what God does for all of us. It is a believable book about how many of us do not see God working in our lives. We might be struggling everyday and crying to God asking, "Where are you God?" Well "Ron Mehl" shows us where God is and the way he writes is so down to earth. It is not at all preachy and he has a great sense of humor throughout the book that just makes you NOT want to put it down. I finished it in 2 1/2 hours. He comes across as an ordinary person with an ordinary life just like us. I have read it over and over again and If life has you down and you feel alone, scared and feel like no one is out there. "Read this book!" You won't be able to put it down, and when you do you will feel a difference. A sort of peace like "Ok! I guess God is working the night shift!"It is a good feeling! Irene Giorgio

God Works the Night Shift is a book that I will purchase for others. I found it a comforting reminder of Christ's profound love for me and an inspiration to obey a God whose primary concern is for my ultimate good. I will read it again and again, and regard it as a trusted companion. Founded on a deep and broad understanding of the Bible, its pages are compelling, humorous and deeply touching. It had a healing effect on me and I know it will on others.

I was given this book while going through a challenging illness. This book provided so much hope and comfort to me! I looked forward to reading it each night. The author repeats the same message in a very clear, realy manner so that you finally get it that God NEVER leaves your side! I love this book!

This written work is extremely encouraging and offers hope to persons encountering a range of obstacles. This would make an excellent gift for someone who feels like they are facing unmovable mountains. With God all things are possible and God never forgets where we are. This book helped me through some really dark days and I appreciate the author's commitment in writing it.

"God Works the Night Shift" is a great book. Ron Mehl's are always a blessing to me. The title of this one caught me because for many years I did work the night shift.

Ron Mehl's wonderful story telling and ways of bringing biblical principles to light and make them relevant to today's world is both refreshing and beautiful.

I gained a much deeper appreciation for how our Heavenly Father is always working to help us and mold and shape us into the best we can be. Thanks Ron Mehl for blessing me yet again.

I usally skip through books trying to find something that interest me. Then I get bored and put it down to collect dust. This book was different I couldn't put it down. My husband thought I was crazy (until he read it) in 20 years of marriage he had never seen me read a whole book before. Each evening no tv for me because I couldn't wait to read the next chapter. So he knew this book had to be something special. Rev. Mehl has a way of explaining things that make you think! This book changed my life for the better.

Ron Mehl was gifted with the ability to encourage others in life's walk. I have now read three books by him. This one, What God Whispers in the Night, and Meeting God at a dead end. All three have a similar theme. Mehl tells his readers that God is always there for you, even if you cannot see or feel him. He wants the reader to remember that faith can go a long way and that God does work for our benefit. He peppers his books with interesting and uplifting real life stories. These are not deep tholigical books, but they are good for those dark times.

I love this book. It is interesting and very easy to read. Hats off to the author. If you are looking for something special, give this book as a gift.

Have you ever felt that God has deserted you and that nothing is happening? It may be because God is working the night shift in your life and accomplishing things you haven't seen yet. Mehl has a down-home writing style that allows you to easily identify with his trials in life, and how God has done work behind the scenes to show His glory. Great book...

I strongly reccomend Better World Books. I had ordered two other books at the same time from other sellers and theirs was the first to arrive. I was impressed with how fast the book got to my house - and I live in Brazil. I would certainly buy books from Better World Books again. Serious and caring company.
