Ms. Holmes was Right, March 6, 2007
This review is from: God and vitamins: How exercise, diet and faith can change your life (Hardcover)
If you want to improve your diet, this book may be of help. The book was published in 1980, and twenty-seven years have gone by, and she is still correct. The only thing she omits is the importance of omega-3 fats in the diet; these are essential in fighting cardiovascular disease, which is caused mainly by imflammation, not cholesterol. Physicians report that they never saw heart disease until the 1920's.

The Truth Shall Make You Healthy!, January 16, 2007
This review is from: God and vitamins: How exercise, diet and faith can change your life (Hardcover)
I am writing a book on diet and health, and this book is among the many that I have read in doing my research. I have ten years of personal experience and research concerning this subject, and I know that Marjorie Holmes undoubtedly found the truth of the diet and health issues. She also reveals the way that Government and industry have went out of their way to keep this information from the public as a result of their "love of money", which the Bible says is the root of all evil. Read the book The China Study if you want to see how most of her conclusions have been supported by this massive diet and health research project conducted by Cornell and Oxford Universities in cooperation with the Chinese government (in the 1980's/90's). And read World Without Cancer if you want to get an in-depth look at the mentality, politics and powers that are keeping the cure for cancer away from you.(Marjorie correctly identifies the answer to cancer and most degenerative diseases: remove all refined and processed foods, reduce or eliminate meat, replacing these with whole natural plant-based foods: vegetables, nuts, fruits and berries - especially raw ones). This information was first presented to me through a Spiritual revelation, and saved me from a serious medical condition. Make no mistake: All Truth Comes from God!

The Garden of Eatin'!, July 2, 2011
This review is from: God and vitamins: How exercise, diet and faith can change your life (Hardcover)
The title sure sounds good to us who are christian believers, but it hardly scratches the surface of the wealth of wisdom and knowledge this volume contains. Little did I know when I read this in 2009 that there was a huge information monopoly operated by the phamaceutical companies. They in turn help to formulate legislation passed that serves only to benefit themselves, thereby staying in business by selling pills to dull symtoms while failing to cure disease.
Aside from the expose of the above scandal, this well-researched book offers much advice on healthy eating, nutrition, minerals, vitamins, exercise and overall care for the entire person. God did not put us here without providing plenty of natural ways and foods to sustain us through out life, which was meant to be lived to the fullest with radiant health, body and spirit. Check it out. it offers fresh insight into the propaganda in our commercials we are bombarded with.
